"Jer...we need to go." Buffy moaned as she kicked Jeremy's leg attempting to stir him from his mid-afternoon nap.

He had shown up to get his suit, only to start watching TV before he promptly passed out on the couch in his suit.

Her brother was an idiot.

When he just continued to snore, Buffy rolled her eyes before moving over to the living room mirror. Placing in her golden hoop earrings, she quickly checked her hair, ensuring that it looked perfect.

If anything was out of place, Caroline would lose it.

Buffy had to admit, she did look good, her hair was in a loose bun with some curly strands surrounding her face and the dress fit very well...for now.

It was a little snug which had her a little paranoid that it wouldn't last the whole event.

There was a loud scream.

Instantly, Buffy tensed up and quickly spun around her fists raised only to panic as she spotted Jeremy in the thralls of pure panic. He had woken up from a nightmare and couldn't shake himself back out of it.

"Jeremy!" She exclaimed as she ran back over to him, grabbing his shoulders and trying to calm him as he began panting heavily.

As his hands latched around hers, his entire body shaking violently, Buffy sighed in concern and pushed the hair from his face "Whoa, Jer it's okay, I've got you...what's going on?"

Jeremy gulped before facing his sister with a terrified glint in his eyes as his focus slowly shifted down to his tattoo.

Instantly, Buffy zeroed in on the tattoo before shifting her focus eyes back to him.

He looked utterly petrified and she hated it.

"Jer, what is it?"

"I um...I don't think it's just vampires hunters want to kill. I just had a dream about killing Elena."

It was safe to say, Jeremy was having a complete panic attack.

On the drive down to the Lockwoods he had filled Buffy in on all of his dreams, dreams about killing vampires. Including, one very terrifying dream that revolved around him cutting off Elena's head.

Now in the escort room, he was back to panicking.

"What if I'm turning into Alaric?" Jeremy exclaimed in horror, he didn't want to believe that because he was a hunter that automatically meant he was going to end up like Connor.

He could not kill his own sister!

He didn't want to!

Buffy groaned as Jeremy tried to move away from her again, yanking on his tie, she forced him back to her "Jeremy hold still." She hissed as she continued to work on his tie while allowing her mind to try and work out just had bad these dreams could be.

If his dreams were his subconscious trying to force him to kill all supernatural creatures.

Honestly, a part of her hoped it was his ring because they were options to work around that...but if this hunter's mark was doing this then they were screwed...and it was all her fault.

"I probably died too many times with this ring on my finger, and I'm developing an alter ego like he did."

Matt, who was looking at the research they had gotten from Bonnie's friend Shane, interjected "Newly awakened hunters may not be fully conscious of their actions. Their subconscious pushes through until the urge becomes basic instinct."
