"Buffy focus."

Buffy grumbled as she glanced up from her textbook and leaned back against the gravestone behind her.

Stefan sighed as he sat opposite his girlfriend on the picnic blanket. They had turned Buffy's patrol into an SAT study session as well as a mini date night. So they were camped out with snacks and all of her study materials right next to a newly fresh grave that had been dug today.

"What was the question again?"

Laughing at the adorable pout forming on her face, Stefan glanced back down at the practice booklet she had bought with her "Which of the following best expresses the theme of the passage? A: Violence breeds violence. B: All things must end. C-"

Before Stefan could even finish, Buffy started to select one of the answers "B! I'm going with B. We haven't had a B in forever."

Stefan let out a loud laugh before picking up one of the grapes from her bowl and tossing it at her, hitting her right between the eyes. Spotting her pouting at him again, Stefan sighed before moving to kneel in front of her.
Placing his finger on her chin he tilted her head up kissing her lips softly before tapping the book "You are the one determined to graduate. The guidance counselor told you that you needed to get at least 1130 to get the last of your credits."

Buffy grumbled before tossing her book on the floor and glaring down at the texts that were taunting her "No, I should be at home in bed, coddling up to my insomnia worrying about how I'm going to screw up this test."

Given he had more faith in her abilities than he had in anyone else, Stefan didn't believe that. Buffy could do this she just had to believe it.
Leaning forward he kissed her forehead before reaching into his jacket pocket and handing her a white envelope.

Maybe her birthday present a few hours early would give her some incentive.

"Think about it this way, you graduate...I'm taking you to Athens for the Summer."

There was a long moment of silence as Buffy just stared up at him completely perplexed before she tore open the envelope. Sure enough, two first-flight tickets to Athens Greece had been booked for the day after Graduation.

Sputtering, Buffy could do nothing but stare at her boyfriend before she practically tackled him to the ground placing kisses all over his face.

Stefan laughed as she continued to attack him, not that he was complaining. It was nice to know she was excited about the prospect of getting out of the country for the Summer together.

Pulling back, Buffy just smiled down at him as the pair of them lay on the grass "Are you serious?"

She just couldn't believe it.

He really was aiming for boyfriend of the century right now.

An entire summer in Europe, before she started college, sounded like absolute perfection...as long as the Klaus stuff was sorted.

But she was not going to let Klaus taint this.

Stefan grinned at her "You said if you wanted to see the world. So once we handle the Mayor of Sunnydale thing and Klaus... You and I are on a first-class flight. NO supernatural drama, just you and me. I even spoke to Sandra and as long as we make an appearance at her labor day barbeque she is more than happy for me to sweep you away for a summer of beautiful cities and romance."

Buffy giggled, her chest bubbling with excitement.

He really had thought of everything.

The fact that he had willingly called Sandra who he had admitted to being terrified of just made her fall in love with him all the more.

Quickly she kissed him once more before moving away and grabbing her textbook, her mind now completely focused.

If she was going to be spending the summer getting her tan on in Greece then she wanted to make sure that she didn't want to have to deal with the planning parties for senior year.

She knew Caroline already had two set dates in August where she would be planning prank night and homecoming.

"Okay definitely want to graduate now."

Stefan chuckled as he moved to grab the question booklet again "I thought giving you that a few hours early would work."

Her birthday was still four hours away.

Buffy grinned, it was sweet how he knew bribing her with a shiny trip would get her to focus. He was certainly learning.
