Bonnie frowned as Buffy led her into the basement of the Summers' house. She truly had no idea what was happening right now.

Buffy had texted her to come over stating that she had a surprise for her, only for Buffy to start dragging her to the basement without a word.

"You're not going to kill me right?" She teased as Buffy continued to drag her down the stairs into the creepy dark basement, which as far as she was aware Buffy was using as a training area.

Buffy laughed "No."

Just as they reached the bottom step, Bonnie froze.

The entire basement had been cleared out. All of the workout supplies were gone and given that Buffy's art supplies were now in the dining room now that Jeremy had officially moved in, the basement was completely stripped clean.

Except for the table in the center of the room covered in candles and the shelves in the corner filled with grimoires and all things magic related.

What the hell was happening?

She had assumed Buffy was going to be using the basement as an art studio yet it was filled with magic supplies, including a few new bags of crystals from The Magic Box.

Buffy rubbed the back of her neck nervously before turning to Bonnie with a small smile "I just figured you might need a space to do magic. The dorm rooms at UC Sunnydale aren't exactly big. This is somewhere you can come to practice whenever you need to."

Realizing what Buffy meant, Bonnie let out a shaky breath as she walked further into the room, a teary-eyed expression crossing her face as she clicked that Buffy had set her up her own magic space.
It was filled with grimoires, magic history books, crystals, candles, and God knows how many other supplies Buffy had managed to steal before Giles had noticed the change in stock.

"What?" That was pretty much the only thing Bonnie could say as she spotted the herb box which had obviously been donated by Willow and Tara on the table.

"Well now that Giles has The Magic Box, all of my workout equipment is there and Willow's magic stuff lives down here anyway and she is more than happy for you to look through it."

Turning away from the shelves of books, Bonnie blinked back tears as a bright smile crossed her lips "Are you serious?"

She just couldn't believe Buffy would do this for her. Especially given that Buffy had none of their old memories together.

Buffy couldn't help but smile sadly at the shocked look on Bonnie's face. While she barely knew Bonnie, a part of her felt connected to the witch. She hated that Bonnie seemed shocked by someone wanting to do something nice for her. It bothered her more than it should of, given that they barely knew each other "Yeah...you don't have a coven with you and I doubt you bought a lot of stuff with you. So consider me your coven, as well as Willow and Tara. This space is yours."

No longer to hold back the tears, Bonnie threw her arms around Buffy, causing the blonde to laugh as she hugged Bonnie back tightly.

Buffy didn't know why, but seeing Bonnie feel appreciated made her soul warm.

"You rock." Bonnie whispered into her shoulder as she squeezed Buffy tightly.

"I guess I'm pretty cool." She teased as she pulled back from the hug only to clench her eyes shut as voices started pounding through her head.

"You're my person."

"You're my person too."

"Buffy, you okay?" Bonnie's voice cut through the air, shaking Buffy back to reality.

Nodding reassuringly, Buffy just threw an arm around the witch's shoulder "Perfectly fine. So...how do you want to decorate your magic studio? I'm thinking new paint job but first things first, you totally need a crystal ball."
