Part 3 - Bahrain FP1+2

We made it to the track at 10:15am in which I texted Charles to let him know we arrived and asked to meet us outside the paddock.

When we scanned our passes and entered the paddock and it immediately felt like home. I automatically noticed Charles and his teammate Carlos waiting for us outside Ferrari's garage entrance. I screamed 'Lord Perceval' as loud as I could to grab his attention and he spun around and ran to hug me.

"Y/N I missed you, I'm so glad your here!"

"Wow, Lord Perceval is showing his emotions towards me for once" I said while laughing

This made Carlos laugh too and I then went and greeted him as well. Charles questioned my outfit of choice as it wasn't Ferrari related but I promised him I would wear a Ferrari cap tomorrow for qualifying.

I then wished both drivers good luck and left with Sydney to go and look around the paddock when a man accidentally walked into me and said

"Second time today, I hope it doesn't happen a third"

I looked up and saw it was only Lewis Hamilton standing in front of me. I could feel the blood leaving my face making me turn really pale. He could tell I was shocked and speechless and just giggled.

"Maybe you should sit down" he said while leading me towards the Mercedes garage.

Lewis then led me into a room which had his name on the front of it and when we entered a bulldog made it's way towards the door. I automatically knew it was Lewis' dog Roscoe as I had seen him post about him on instagram before. Lewis then led me towards the sofa and gestured for me to sit down. He asked me if I was okay and we got lost into a normal conversation. A knock then arrived on the door and was then opened and in walked Toto Wolff himself asking Lewis to get ready and suited for the practice. Angela then walked in to help Lewis prepare. Lewis looked back at me and told me I could either wait here or go with Toto to watch the practice in the garage. Obviously I agreed to go with Toto (who wouldn't). It was only then I realized that Sydney wasn't with me, I asked Lewis if he had seen where she went or where she was and Lewis quickly reassured me that she wandered off to McLaren after we had bumped into each other as she was too excited she hadn't realized me and Lewis had walked into each other.

It was now 11:25am and the practice was about to start and Lewis and George jumped into their cars ready to start driving. I wished him good luck knowing he would do well in it.

As the practice was finishing Lewis was driving the car well as far as I could see hopefully this years season is better than last year. When Lewis got back into the garage and stepped out of his car I went to say he did well in the free practice but he went in for hug and it felt like a dream I thought I was going to faint. I even ended up blushing, we then got torn apart from each other when Toto walked up to Lewis to talk to him about how to keep this going for FP2 in a couple of hours and over the next couple of days

I noticed that I didn't have my bag on me so I thought I left it in Lewis' room in the garage. When I walked in, Roscoe walked up to me and jumped up to my legs and I petted him on the head when a familiar voice spoke out

"Did you enjoy the practice?"

I immediately knew it was Lewis and I turned around slowly, seeing him standing at the door wanting to go in and so I said,

"Yes, you did amazing I'm sure you'll produce the same result in driving over the entire weekend. Sorry I just came to see if my bag was in here which is and then I'll be on my way. I need to find my friend, Sydney"

Lewis nodded before asking me to come back for FP2 which I sorta agreed to I just said I might be able too. I then left and went to find Sydney it didn't take me long as I could hear her contagious laugh flooding the McLaren garage.

When I walked into the McLaren garage I found Sydney talking to Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo and walked over to her. She warmly greeted me and introduced me to Lando and Daniel. I told her I had to tell her something and she quickly said goodbye to the McLaren team and told them she'd be back soon. I told her everything that had happened and she was shocked she didn't speak for five minutes before screeching in excitement. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of what happened.

We went and grabbed lunch and talked about what happened during the practice and what went on in the McLaren and Mercedes garage and before we knew it, FP2 was about to start we both decided we'd return to McLaren and Mercedes and meet up after FP2.

For some reason I was scared entering the Mercedes garage again this time alone because I felt unwelcome but that's probably my overthinking. When I walked into the garage I bumped into George and started talking and he is so funny, Lewis then jumped into the conversation to let George know that FP2 was about to start. Lewis just smiled at me and I wished him good luck and he got into his car and went out onto the track.

FP2 went a lot quicker than FP1 did and before I knew it Lewis and George were back in the garage. I walked up to them both and told them they did amazing and said they will do amazing qualifying the next day. I then told Lewis I had to leave and he asked for my number. Now I know what your thinking a bit fast no? But who was I kidding I said yes and gave him my phone for him to put his number in. I thanked him and left the garage.

I then met up with Sydney and told her everything that happened during FP2 including Lewis putting his number in my phone. She was too stunned to speak so we decided we would head back to the hotel. When we got back to the hotel we were exhausted and decided to order food in and I decided to slip into my pajamas. When the food arrived (I got a salad and Sydney got some chicken nuggets) we decided to put on 'Cobra Kai' while eating dinner. After we finished I washed up the bowls and plates that were used and Sydney left to go to her hotel room and I fell onto the bed smiling about the day I had experienced, when my phone lit up and buzzed, I looked at it and I saw it was a message from Lewis my heart was racing as he asked if I'd be at quail tomorrow. I quickly replied saying I would as Charles Leclerc got me and Sydney paddock passes for the entire weekend. I then turned my phone off and closed my eyes falling into a deep sleep excited for qualifying.

Hey guys! Hope your enjoying the story, if you have any add ons let me know or any changes. I don't think I'm going to base it off how the 22' season panned out but I'll make it similar ( in some races the result might be the same as the 22' season had ). I also won't be doing every free practices bc that would take forever and not rlly important within the story. Mainly just the qualifying and definitely the races I'll be doing.
