My body was being pulled down from behind, and my mouth was filling up with water as I screamed. It just happened so fast that I don't understand what's going on.

All I know was that something or someone has attacked me and is now trying to drown me. So, I fought back.

Fighting against these strong arms that came out of nowhere, holding a firm grip around my wait. With every effort I tried to loosen them, the tougher the hold became. I pushed, pulled, and scratched my way free from whoever was trying to pull me down to the sea floor.

I started to kick furiously against the shins and inner calf of the attacker, which helped get me free. Once he let go of me, I quickly threw a hard punch before making a swim for safety.

As I swam faster to the surface, I spotted my surfboard that was slightly away from its original spot. I was swimming as hard as I could, despite not having enough air, and was choking on seawater. I just needed to get away from the attacker. That's the only thing that mattered.

Within a minute, I burst out of the water and threw myself on top of my board. Coughing and spitting out the amount of water that I've mostly swallowed before laying my head down. Breathing deeply while gathering enough strength to swim back to shaw to report this.

I lay on top of my board for almost a minute before a head popped up in front of me, saying, "Damn Ariel, you have quite a right hook."

Staring into the green eyes of my so-called attacker while he smiled like a fool at me. Then, I immediately jumped over my board, crashing on top of him.
Splashing water in his face while hitting him frantically, "You damn, bloody, rude, Australian asshole!! You could have drowned me!"

After giving David a piece of my mind, I swam back to my board, wanting to get far away from him for his safety. But as I was close to getting on it, those arms tried grabbing hold of me again. Gently pulling me into his chest as he said light heartedly, "Come on, Ariel, I was only playing with you."

His words, his tone, caused my anger to get even worse as I easily pulled his arms away from me. Turning around to push his shoulders, "Scaring me isn't a damn joke!!"

My voice broke and quaked with each word that shot shockwaves into David's expression. That's when he finally understood. He finally saw how his playful joke affected me. Staring into my eyes as he took in all of the emotions that were rushing through my body.

Without wasting any time getting back on my board and paddling away from him, I made my way out of the water. Meanwhile, fighting back tears that were burning to fall down my face for many reasons than having to be scared.

Once, I was by the shaw, walking out of the water with my board under my arm. I noticed that Cameron was sitting on his own, typing on his phone alone, "Why are you sitting here alone alone?"

Looking up from his phone, giving me a small smile before saying, "Everyone went to swim and have fun or buy food for lunch. And since there's no one else to watch over everyone's belongs, I stayed behind."

"I see," I said while drying myself off with my towel. Looking at his phone to see that it wasn't opened to messages or social networks. Just a game with a very impressive high score, "How far are you from beating yourself?"

Confident grin grew on his face, proudly stating, "Just have to get past a few more levels, and I'll be unstoppable."

I shook my head at his silliness before catching Taylen's laughter. Finding him playing catch with a football between Kevin and Frankie. I noticed that he was still pretty much off after hearing Haylie declaring that she's never going to date anyone again. He was smiling and having fun, but I could still see that he was hurting.
