"Ok, it's official," I said between my laughter while trying to keep a straight face. Where David sat with his face slightly red and covered in embarrassment as he stared at the screen in front of us. "You and Boomer's video hit mine with my Mom and Dad out of the park."

Shaking his head while Charlotte and Valerie nodded in agreement on the other couch, "No, it doesn't."

So, after our big, emotional roller-coaster one on one conversation, David waited for me to close down the bookstore. Before taking me to his house in my car to watch some homemade videos of his family and friends.

We spent most of the evening watching almost all of them with Charlie and Valerie. With some snacks and leftovers from last night's dinner. Since everyone else was busy with homework, studying, and other things. It was his way of making up for everything that happened last night and it was just perfect.

Most of the videos were of David and his siblings when they were younger. Some of them had Boomer in them until they start getting older.

While watching a video of Charlie, Robin, and Samuel playing a prank on Derick, George, and Dylan, I softly asked, "How come there aren't many videos of Boomer when he was older?"

David shifted slightly uncomfortable in his seat. But he didn't get angry or reacted the same way as he had last night instead he whispered back, "When we were younger, he liked making funny videos with us, but as he got older, he needed to spend more time with his family and friends that would stay here from time to time. So, whenever we made videos, Boomer would miss out."

I kinda get that. Whenever Kupuna and Puna, Uncle Sidney, Granny Jerica, and Grandpa Martin come to visit us, we will spend more time with them. Half of the time, I would have to reschedule with Chelsea, Carter, and Junaid whenever we had plans. It's been a long time since Granny Jerica and Grandpa Martin visited us.

Turned back to the screen, watching more videos before hearing David whispers, "I'm glad that we could work things out, Ariel."

Smiling warmly at him, whispering back, "Me too. Plus it was the only way I could get more of your Mom's food."

Playfully gasping while putting his hand on his chest for my tease, "You wound me, Ariel."

"Awe, poor baby," I pouted before sticking my tongue out toward him which he returned. Softly giggling at our playfulness and being silly with each other. I definitely missed this.

Before either, one of us could say anything else or continue laughing softly, we both heard someone singing, "Stick out your tongue to ask for a kiss. If it's sticking back out, then the answer is yes."

Finding Bell and Uncle Matt walking into the living room, smiling happily at us. Softly chuckling at what his wife was singing while David groaned with a small smile, "Mom, that's an old kiddie song that Grandma tease us with when we were little."

"Yes, and look at how Derick has a son with Madelyn." Bell shot back with a wink. I got up to give her a hug which was filled with love and warmth that only a Mother could give.

When Uncle Matt stood by me with a big smile on his face, "Nice to see you again, Jennifer."

"It's nice to see you again, Mr - I mean, Uncle Matt." I need to learn to call David's Dad by the name that he told me. But it seemed that he doesn't mind.

Standing closer to ask softly, "Have you and David made up after your falling out with each other?"

The amount of concern that was in his voice as he asked shows how much he was worried. Which I found incredibly sweet of him, "Yes, we talked and worked things out, Uncle Matt."
