After getting dressed back into the clothes that we all entered the building in, Daytona, Janelle and Kevin were walking with me and David into the building's lullaby. It was grey, white with a slash of gold and sliver.
Everyone on Sapphire were full of smiles and laughter like me, David and my friends were, today was a good day for all of us and as much as I would love to celebrate, I felt like a walking zombie.
"I'm so dead on my feet." Groaning as we were walking to the front entrance while they laughed for my moaning. Someone from behind us were calling out for David which caused us all to halt before turning around to find Derick walking towards us with a beautiful young lady beside him.
"Thank God we found you, we almost about to report you missing." It was the first time that Derick had ever been funny and I actually liked it.
Most of the practises at their house, he was always dressed in a suit, talking on his phone about meetings and other important business stuff, but today he's dress in jeans, Jordans, redbat T-shirt and smiling for once.
David playfully hit his brother's arm, firing back, "You just had to ask Ms Ruby where I was, smartass."
While they were playfully fighting each other, Janelle nudge my side whispering, "We're gonna be on the bus to save seats, have fun watching Bad Boy out of his habitat."
Kevin, Daytona and her walked so fast away from us, that I didn't have enough time to ask her to take my bag.
Sighing for that part before seeing Rebecca sending me a text saying:
Rebecca: "Hey, today's my day off, Joshua has offered to take the kids for the day. So, you and me can have a sister day, just the two of us." (Three smiley face emoji's)
I almost wanted to cry, because I was too tired and wanted to sleep, but at the same time I wanted to have a sister day even more than sleep. Becca and I would spend the whole day with each other doing whatever we wanted to do together, it was our way of bonding, especially now that she's a doctor.
Whenever she has an off day, we would have a sister day, us spending time with each other, watching movies, playing some cards and board games and once or twice I would let her take me out shopping.
Me: "Spotlight has just ended, Sapphire came second and I would really like to have a sister day to celebrate." (Two smiley face emoji's)
By the time the message was sent, David and Derick had finally stopped playfully fighting and were now laughing over some joke or something.
The young lady who was watching them beside me, was the same lady who came with Derick, clearing my throat, "So, this is what brothers do, they fight with each other before joking around together?"The girl scoff before throwing her rose brown hair over her shoulder with a smile, "I know, and they say that sisters are more confusing than boys are."
"The only gender that's confusing is males more than females. With their behave and having more mood swings than us girls." I basically quoted Daytona's words from our small debut that we had with Peyton, Janelle and Charlie, yet neither of the two was here to hear it.
However it did score me a smile from the new girl while nodding her head, "I second that."
"Um, excuse me," Derick said who was now facing us with David who had his arms crossed, both staring at us with a look that nearly screams 'how dare you?' towards us.
"But males aren't the ones who are confusing, females are. You ladies have more mood swings than us and behave far worse than us."
David nodding his head in agreement with his brother was a sweet and cute moment to watch. While the new girl and I stared towards them for a moment, turning our heads to each other for three seconds before turning back to the boys, "If you say so."
