It's a Monday afternoon and the weather was rainy again, but it's a light rain and not like the huge drops that we had a couple of weeks ago. It's refreshing and nice, although I'm a girl who enjoys the sun as much as I do for the rain.
Sitting in the cafeteria at the table that's close to the window, but also close to the middle of the building, it's not the usual table that we always sit, it's a nice change though.
Daytona and Frankie were arguing about which anime power couple are the best, Charlotte and Peyton were talking about the latest fashion trend. Janelle and Kevin were watching funny YouTube videos, sharing an earphone between each other.
While I was eating the second slice of pizza since David stole my last one, "You seriously need to learn how to buy your own food, dude."
Rolling his eyes at me with that crooked smile of his as he chew the half piece of meat lover pizza that he stole from my plate, "Buying my own food wouldn't taste as great as yours does, Ariel."
Clicking my tongue before taking a big bite into the spicy chicken and sour cheese pizza which has become my all-time favourite on campus.
After chewing my third bite, Billy walked up to our table, looking a little bit nervous as well as excited with the smile that he had on when he greeted, "Hey Jennifer."
He sounded almost uncertain if he could call me by my nickname which most people in Sapphire calls me by along with my friends, "Hi Billy, what's up?"
"How'd you liking the rain?" Billy asked almost hesitatingly, as if he was mentally asking himself why he went with that.
Seeing the Captain of Saphire being so uncertain with his words was kinda a cute thing to see from him.Daytona and Charlotte grow quiet as they listened in to our conversation while Penny started talking with Ryan who just sat down.
Struggling my shoulders lightly while smiling kindly to make him feel less. . . nervous, "It's nice, great way to start the week.""Yeah, great way to cool off." Billy nodded his head, shifting his weight from one foot to the other, still looking very nervous, almost like he was scared to talk or something.
By the corner of my eyes, I could see the two smiling like little girls who are about to get the newest Barbie doll after watching its latest movie, "So, uh. . . do you still, like, chat with Swag Crew's leader, Steve or was it like a one time thing?"
I really was hoping that Billy wasn't going to ask me about this, I've had so many people in and out of Sapphire asking the same question over and over again for the last couple of weeks now. Why?
Because the people are bored, they want something exciting to happen on campus again and for some reason, I'm the only person who can make that wish into a reality.
Hiding my annoyance towards the question with a kind, tight smile before answering him, "No, I haven't spoken to Steve. It was just a one time thing.""I bet he had blocked her from their Instagram page right after the car wash." Hearing her voice so early in the day is something that I despise with a passion, her overusing perfume was making my nose cry for air.
Even on a cold, wet day, Stephine puts on the shortest crop top and shorts with a pair of skinny high heels, I mean, does this girl even get cold? "I would block Jennifer from my account myself."Softly scoffing before putting on a wricked smirk when asking, "Would it make you feel better after having your ex block you from his phone, right in front of you?" I know that was a low blow, but I couldn't care less.
Charlie, Daytona and Frankie laughed under their breath for the returned burn that Stephine received before saying, "At least whenever I'm around other guys, they actually ask me out instead of friendzone me like many has done to you."
