He was forsaken, someone no one wanted. Not even God.
But you saw the beauty in his soul. Regardless of the darkness that dwelled inside.
Like any living being, no matter how ethereal they might be, all anyone wanted was to be loved and accepted. Sam felt that when he was with you.
He did his best to push you away, to keep you from getting tainted from the monster inside. But no matter what he did, you found your way back to him. And he couldn't have been more grateful for that.
