Law and Order: The Zatima Unit

𝐵𝑖𝑔 𝐻𝑖𝑡

They dug through some surface stuff in the dumpsters. Fatima went all the way in there. When it came to mothers and kids, she would go as far as she needed to.

"OVER HERE" Fatima yelled.

Fatima had the baby in her hand. The baby had a faded voice, and a weak pulse.

"WE NEED A MEDIC!!" Fatima screamed

The medics came and took the baby to the hospital. Denzel ordered Zac to go with Fatima to the hospital.

Whether the baby was related to the case or not, they always vowed to make sure.

They went to the hospital and Fatima was pacing the floor constantly.

"please sit down. You're making me dizzy. The baby will be alright." He said pulling her to sit down.

"I have to know for sure" Fatima said.

The doctor came out and told her everything was fine. They ran DNA from the blood found on the baby's blanket. The blood on the blanket was a match.

As they were heading back to the precinct, Zac received a call informing him that his uncle passed away. It broke his heart, but he just had to continue on.

"we got a baby that is tied to the case and 4 dead bodies" Brandee reiterated

"the baby was intentionally dropped in that spot. Whoever put her there, wanted to make a statement and we just have to figure it out" Fatima says going through papers

Elliot walks in the room.

" just got word from the hospital that the baby was actually the daughter of the woman that was killed 3 days ago" Elliot said

"he's playing the game. He's dropping things on purpose. I think we missed something." Zac said

"What could that be?" Fatima questioned.

"we need to go over these bodies. I'll need to see these pictures again! " zac said

"on it. I'll go grab the file." Brandee said

Fatima walked out of the room to grab some coffee. She was definitely drained.

Denzel ordered for everyone to take 10.

*Olivias office*

"How do you feel so far?" Elliot questioned

"I actually like their team dynamic. It actually made me realize that we don't have to be so professional." Olivia said

"Agreed."

*coffee room*

"Hey girl" Taraji said walking in the room

"Hey" Fatima said

"I'm so tired. It's 9 p.m. and I've been up since 4 this morning." Taraji said making her a coffee

"Same. I really can't sleep when we get cases. Make me feel like I'm missing something"

"I really like you. You're mad cool. I can relate to you"

"I like you too. Between me and you, you're my favorite person on your team"

"Who's your favorite?" Zac said walking in

"You always ear hustling. Mind your business." Taraji said playfully

"Right, Detective Taylor" Fatima said sipping her coffee

"Y'all trying to tag team me in the break room?" Zachary asked laughing

"Double trouble" Taraji said high-fiving Fatima. "I'll be right back"

"You okay today?" Fatima asked Zac

"Yes. What made you asked that?"

"Your energy is a little off today and I can tell that something is wrong. You don't have to tell me, but do you need something?"

"A hug" he said in seriousness

Fatima gave him a hug.

Denzel walked in

" Ain't this ab-"

"Captain please. Not today."

"Uh huhh. Your 10 is over.

They all walked out and met up in the room. There was 2 men and a woman that were standing there.

"Now that we're all back, we have some help from the FBI as well. This is Derick Morgan, Spencer Reid, and Penelope Garcia" Elliot said pointing at them individually

They all were introduced to each other and were getting down to business.

"Your man is smart. He manipulates these women into giving him their baby. He keeps them and dumps them." Reid Says

"Leaving an interesting trail as well. All victims have children that have yet to be found. The first victims child was left intentionally for us." Garcia says typing on her computer

"If my calculations are right, he needed a start. The next body that drops will be somewhere in between 7th and 10th street. There will also be another baby and it will belong to one of the previous victims." Morgan says
