"I thought I was about to get I kiss"

"You asked me for a hug a few minutes ago. Now, you want a kiss too? Being a wife is hard." She laughed

"Don't wives kiss their husbands?"

"They do." Gladys said, "I was up late last night."

"Doing what? You surely didn't answer me when I called 10 times."

"Fatima was feeling sick. I was already up in the middle of the night, but she came down because her stomach started hurting."

"Is she pregnant?"

"No."

"They need to hurry up. I want a grandchild."

"Leave them babies alone. They'll have kids when they're ready."

"Either they have on, or we have one."

"We are too damn old for a baby."

"You're only 44. People out here having babies at 60."

"That's them. I'm done with the more. I'll leave that up to Zac and Fatima. Speaking of them, tell her to come back up here."

"Not until I get a kiss from my WIFE."

Gladys yelled, "Zac come up here and get your daddy!" She laughed

"You so wrong." He laughed

Zac walked up the stairs, "what you doing to my mama?"

Fatima walked up the stairs behind him, "stay out of they business."

"Right Fatima. Tell him" Samuel said

"That's my mama though. You'd go to war for Pauletta."

"If thareis a real threat. I almost faught your daddy about mine because I thought that he was a real threat. They love each Other. It's diffrent." Fatima said, "I see you both wearing the ring again. I love it."

"You wearing your ring now ma? "

"Yep. I'm still a married womon"

"So leave them married folks alone Zac. Not going to lie, if I just reunited with my partner, we'd be fucking everywhere."

" You better not even Kiss him ma."

"I didn't tell you not to kiss Fatima. D told me that he heard yail fucking in the car." Samuel said

"oh wow" Gladys said

Fatima covered her face with her phone and went to the kitchen.

"You talk to damn much" Zac said

"Blame you mother."

"You must want me to divorce your ass" Gladys said

"I told you what I wanted already, and it's not a divorce."

"Let me find out y'all trying to get freaky in my house." Fatima said walking back into the living room

"No. His ass wants a kiss" Gladys said

"The only time that I'd think that I'm just like my daddy" Zac said

"I was just about to say that" Fatima said

*2 hours later*

Samuel still didn't get a kiss. Gladys went to go take a nap. Zac and Fatima ended up going to the grocery store.

They were walking through the desert aisle.

"You feeling alright? With your mom and dad just now coming together?" Fatima asked

"I'm actually really happy. It's what I needed. I didn't like just talking to my dad over the phone, and I really missed my mom. I want both of them doing well, and together. Thank you for getting everything back on track. I feel complete now. 2 moms, 2 dads, and an amazing future wife."

"I'm happy that you're happy. I love you babe."

"I love you too, Taylor." Zac said

"The Taylors" Fatima said smiling back at him

*Fatimas house*

Gladys had just woke up. Samuel was on the porch. Gladys called his name from inside the room, but he didn't hear her. She walked out of the room.

She decided that she wanted to go outside to get some fresh air.

She jumped, "shit you scared me"

He laughed, "what you doing out here?"

"Just wanted to come out here and get some fresh air."

"You just wanted to be out here with me."

"Maybe, maybe not. I did miss you though."

"I missed you too, darling."

"You getting soft on me?"

"I've always had a soft spot for you. I cuss motherfuckers out and you know that."

"Oh. Believe me. I know." She leaned over the banister

"Feels like a dream."

"It does. It's been years."

He stood up out of the chair. He walked beside her. He put his arm around her, and she leaned her head into him.

"I love you. I want you to come home."

"I am home. Y'all are my home."

"You were all that we were missing."

*in the car*

"Look at them" Fatima pointed at Samuel and Gladys

He looked up. They kissed right in front of him.

"I'm pretty sure that my inner child is smiling so hard right now." Zac said," I'm going to get they ass for kissing in my face like that"

"Payback. Now you see how my dad felt when you kissed me right in front of him."

"You know that was different. It's not the same" Zac laughed

They got out of the car. Zac carried they grocery bags in the house.

An hour later. They were all standing in the kitchen. Fatima had her phone in her hand. Zac put his hand out for it.

"What?" Fatima asked

"Let me see the results."

"What results?" Samuel asked in confusion
