Law and Order: The Zatima Unit

𝐽𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑖𝑐𝑎 𝑃𝑎𝑟𝑡 1

*the next morning*

Denzel was up half of the night talking about how excited he was to be a grandfather.

Pauletta was going on about how they should have a baby shower, mommy shower, daddy shower, and gender reveal.

Gladys and Pauletta were downstairs most of the night just talking about how proud they were of Zac and Fatima.

Everybody was downstairs except Zac and Fatima.

Fatima was just now getting out of the shower.

"Now that I know you are pregnant, I'm seeing a little bump." Zac said

"I see it. My doctor asked me how I didn't know that I was pregnant because he seen the bump before I walked in the room." Fatima said

"It's so cute though."

*downstairs*

Pauletta and Gladys were outside talking. Samuel and Denzel were on the inside.

"They think because they on vacation that they can have they whole ass out" Samuel said

"I said the same damn thing. I don't know who they been around."

"Easy access motherfucker"

"Hell no. I go to far. My clothes will be on the floor in no time"

"Shiddd, who you tellin?!"

Zac came down the stairs, "yooo"

"Nigga, where yo ass been?" Samuel asked

"Upstairs. I just got dressed." Zac said

"Where Fatima? I think she influenced them" Denzel pointed at them outside

"Don't be hating on them. Their outfits are fine."

"Fine my ass" Denzel said, "she's going to mess around and get fucked."

"You are so nasty" Zac laughed, "it don't make no sense."

"You need to be the last one talking" Samuel said

"I ain't nasty." Zac laughed, "that's y'all ass"

Fatima finally came down.

"I'm about to cry again" Denzel said

"What you about to cry for?" Fatima asked laughing

"I'm getting my grandchild" Denzel said, "it's to much for an old man"

"You are so dramatic. If you ever wondered where I get being a cry baby from, it's you. At least I can blame it on the baby now" Fatima said

"Don't blame it on my grandchild" Samuel said

"I'm definitely going to blame it on this baby" Fatima laughed. She looked out the window at Gladys and Pauletta, "oh. They showing out today."

"You told them to get those outfits?" Denzel asked

"Sure did. They look good!" Fatima said

"Zac, come and get her." Samuel said

"Leave my baby alone" Zac said

Gladys and Pauletta walked through the door.

*1 hour later*

They decided that they were going bamboo rafting.

They arrived. There were 3 different rafters. Each couple got on. They were all enjoying the breeze and talking.

"Is that girl over there trying to footwork? I know you lying." Pauletta said

"Mama! Show her how Chicago do it !" Fatima said

"Hell no. Don't be encouraging her to do that." Denzel said

They all laughed. They looked over on their right side. Fatima tapped Zac and whispered.

"You might have to expect a sibling soon"

Samuel was hovering over Gladys kissing her.

"Fine with me. As long as I got this one right here" he said rubbing Fatima's stomach.

*3 hours later*

They went out to lunch. Everybody had so many options.

The people even sung Fatima happy birthday. She really enjoyed herself.

Zac sent a text to Denzel's phone.

Zac- before Fatima turns 25. I want her to go into this new chapter a future wife. Not a girlfriend, not a baby mama, but my wife.

Pauletta seen his phone buzz and picked it up because she thought it was hers.

She put the phone back down without reading the message.

She tapped Denzel and told him to look at his phone. He opened it and read the message.

He put his hand over his heart.

"Who died?!" Pauletta asked

Zac and Denzel started laughing.

"Out of all questions, who died?"

"He was holding his heart and shit. I was just trying to figure it out. I thought the good lord took somebody right on out of here" Pauletta said causing the whole table to laugh

Denzel sent Zac a text back.

Denzel- you have my blessing. You already know that me and Pauletta love the both of you. I'm happy that you're my son.

Everybody was looking at Zac and Denzel as they were both on their phones.

They both looked up.

"What?" They both said in unison

"I was just trying to figure out why y'all can't say what y'all have to say out loud." Fatima said

"We ain't saying nothing. We talking about plans for tomorrow" Zac said

"Right. We had some things to talk about." Denzel said

"Mhm" Pauletta said

They were getting ready to leave. They decided that they wanted to walk back to the house. It was only a 10 minute walk.

They seen an open mic place. Zac pointed and looked at Fatima, "it's your time to shine."

Fatima laughed, "I'm not going in that place."

"Fatima sings?" Samuel asked

"All the time. She just acts shy" Zac said

"She gets singing from you" Denzel said pointing at Pauletta

"Mama, you sing and didn't tell me?" Fatima asked

"I didn't know that you sung either. We even" Pauletta said, "ask Gladys to sing"

"Hold the hell on." Zac said

"I knew that she sings already. We some singing ass women" Fatima said

"Y'all keeping secrets and I don't like that shit" Samuel said

They made their way to the house.

"Why is there noise coming from inside of the house?" Fatima asked as she heard violins playing

"Umm..I don't know. Let's go see." Zac opened the door.

Fatima's was in awe.
