Law and Order: The Zatima Unit

"You just turned yourself from my son. You are back to Detective Zachary Taylor." Denzel said

"You ain't rocking with me nomore? Wow you acting different!" Zac said

"I'm just playing with ya." Denzel said laughing

*2 hours later*

Amelia was having a very hard time telling them what happened. She was very nervous. It was really weighing down on Fatima because she kept imagining all of the potential things that Michael could've done. She couldn't explain why she screamed when she saw him, nor what happened in the room when she was there. She just cried.

Fatima and Liv walked out of the room. They both took a deep breath.

"I really don't know about this" Fatima said

"I'm starting to think that you were right. We technically don't have any proof of anything that he's done." Olivia said

"Unlessss.."

"You thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Yep. Let's go."

They tried to sneak through the common area.

"Where you going?" Elliot asked

"Shit" Olivia whispered, "Rikers"

"Rikers for what?" Elliot questioned

"I need to talk to Michael. Amelia won't talk." Olivia said

"I don't trust him" Elliot said

"There are guards and I'm fine. Fatima is coming"

"No she isn't. Neither are you right now. Actually, I need you two to take 20. Y'all both been in there for over 2 hours. A break is needed. Fatima, Zac is in the room."

"Why can't we just go now? We can take the break when we get back." Olivia said

"Your feet are hurting, you haven't eaten a thing all day, your head is about to start hurting, and you're about to ask me to call Noah within the next 5 minutes." Elliot said

"Damn. He knows you to well." Fatima said, "I'm about to go see Zac."

Fatima walked into the room. Zac was sleep. Taraji signaled for her to come over by her.

"That walk is different girl" Taraji said

"What walk?" Fatima asked

"You walking different. He folded that ass like a pretzel." Taraji said

"Sure did. Had me daydreaming." Fatima said, "don't act like I didn't see your "detective smith" come back here 5 different times" Fatima said

"He sure did. That man is all over me and I love it." Taraji said

"Must be nice. He's sleep. I missed him all day." Fatima said

"He missed your ass too. He was talking about you every two minutes. I wanted to tell him to shut up, but it was just so cute to hear."

" I know that's right. He loves me and I love him too with his fine ass."

"Love??" Taraji questioned

"Yes. I love my boyfriend."

"Boyfriend? Girl,I've been missing for a while.  I want to know it all."

"I'll fill you in later. Look at the door. Your man waiting on you girl." Fatima said

Taraji walked out and Fatima walked over to Zac. She rubbed his chest until he woke up.

"How long have I been sleep?" Zac asked

"Not long. You just sent me a text 15 minutes ago, so you just went to sleep." Fatima said

"Oh. You left me, so I had no choice. I did so many documents that I'm dreaming about them." Zac said

"I know the feeling. I'll be back though." Fatima says, while standing up

"Where you going?" Zac asked

"Outside. I just want to sit in the car for a second." Fatima said

"Everything okay?"

"Yes & I need to ask you something"

"Okay. Sit back down."

Fatima sat down, "would you be mad if I went out tonight?"

"No, why would I be?"

"I don't know. That's why I asked."

"Go ahead and go out. All I want to do is hear from you and tell me that you're safe. If you get to drunk, just call and I'll come get you."

"Okay." Fatima said standing back up

Zac pulled her closer to him, while he was sitting down, "I know and you know that I know"

"I do" Fatima said

"I got you." Zac says

*2nd floor*

Brandee walked into the room.

"I could've sworn that you weren't supposed to be back for 3 more days." Brandee said

"That's what the doctor said, but they know that I'm hardheaded." Denzel said

"I should call Ms. Pauletta and snitch on you.  Better yet, let me go get Tima."

"Hell no! Both of them going to come in here yelling. Luckily I slid past her today."

Brandee started typing on her phone, "I just sent both of them a message. You're in trouble now."

"This is why we can never be cool for more than two days. You always snitching!"

"Your health is important to us. We don't need anything to happen to you while you're here."

" I know and it won't. As you can see, I haven't been out today. I've just been going over some footage."

"I could've done that. You should be resting", Brandee looked at her phone. "Fatima said that she's on her way up here"

"You get on my last nerve. She's probably going to send Zachary up here too. He doesn't play either. My son is supposed to be on my side."

"Your son?" Brandee asked, "you've never accepted anybody that Tima has dated. This is surprising."

"Yes. I like him. He's a really great guy. I like him for her. Her old boyfriends were fuckedddd. Also, I don't know many guys that'll actually put ME in my place."

"He put you in your place? Yep, we definitely need him around. I do like him too though."

Zac walked in the room and stared at him while crossing his arms, "really?"

"Ooh shit. This about to be good. Let me take a seat." Brandee said laughing

"It sure is." Zac said to Brandee, "I really let you slide earlier. You need to go home and get some REST!"

"I got rest last night."

"That wasn't rest. Rest is at least 2 days. If I told Fatima to go rest, she'll be gone for at least 48 hours. The doctor told you to rest for how many days?" Zac asked

"Umm.." Denzel said

"3 whole days" Brandee said

"Oooh so that's why you haven't been out of here all day? That's really crazy. I'm about to call you a car because I don't trust you driving home. Also, they had to prescribe you some medicine so where is it?"

"I don't need that."

"You're going to make me yell at you and neither one of us want that. I'll go pick your medicine up for you AND I'll make sure you take it. You are hard headed." Zac said

"You don't have to do that. I got it Zachary."

"No, I do. Your daughter and wife will have a fucking fit if anything happens to you when it could all be avoided. You're going home and that's final." Zac said

Fatima walked in the room.
