Law and Order: The Zatima Unit

𝑆𝑙𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑠𝑙𝑜𝑝𝑒

"How are we going to get them out of there?" Elliot questioned

"If he's in the building, he probably took a phone. It doesn't hurt to try." Taraji said

They dialed the number. The phone was picked up, but it was silent. Nobody said anything on the line. They were about to hang up until they heard slight whispers.

" he, he has us locked in the basement" a woman whispered through the phone

"is he down there with you all?" Olivia asked

"no. He went somewhere. Please come help"

"We're on our way. Remain calm. Stay on the phone."

They kept the phone connected. They got into their squad cars. They went no less than 80 MPH, which led them to arrive within two minutes. Somebody's siren went off.

*inside of the Senior home*

Michael took the elevator into the basement. He walked out of the elevator, "who called them?" He screamed

Luckily, most of the people couldn't speak. The rest couldn't remember. He pulled one of the receptionist up to him. He gave her a note in her hand. He took her upstairs to the main floor.

Michael stood in the corner, "GO!" He screamed at her. She was scared. There were lots of guns drawn and shields.

She yelled "Don't shoot" before she went out. They heard her, but they still kept their hand on the trigger just in case. She came out with her hands up. She handed Brandee the note because she was the closest one to the door.

Brandee opened the note:

"30 minutes. She needs to be in here or they all die."

"He has lost his fucking mind" Brandee said

"What does it say?" Denzel asked

"He wants Fatima in there or all of the people will die." Brandee said

"He might as well start killing now. I'm not allowing her to go in there." Denzel said

"What's going on?" Elliot asked, walking over to them

"He wants her and I can't let that happen." Brandee said

"Why is he so damn obsessed with her?" Elliot asked

" I don't know. He's always been trying to get at her, but she's always ignored him" Brandee said

"I know that she's your detective, but i have to call the shots. I won't let her go in unless she says that she wants to. We'll have to find another way." Elliot said

"I don't want you to ask her because the answer that'll come from her mouth will be yes. She'll do anything to save those people." Denzel said

"I understand, but it has to be put on the table for her to decide."

Fatima walked up, "why are we at a standstill?" She questioned, "aren't we supposed to be in there?"

Denzel took a deep breath, "he wants you in there. I'd rather risk them dying, than you going in there and getting hurt."

"I'll go in there." Fatima said

"Are you listening to yourself?" Denzel asked

"Yes. If it's to save their lives, I'll do it" Fatima said

"Are you sure?" Elliot asked

"Yes."

Denzel couldn't take it. He walked away and took a few deep breaths. Elliot was indeed surprised at how quickly she answered.
