(A few hours later)

Aya lye on top of Kai, her legs on both sides of him, and her arms his neck, as she buried her face into the crook of it.

She couldn't stop thinking about what took place earlier, and wondered if she'd regret not going on the trip. It could've been a chance for her to experience something new, and she hadn't been to Miami yet.
She just wanted to live.

"You sleep?" She heard Kai ask, while he rubbed circles on her back. Aya shook her head, "What's wrong Aya?" He sat his phone down beside him,  having taken a notice that she wasn't paying attention to the movie that played.

"I-I just really wanted to go on the trip, I don't understand why you won't let me-" She started to speak, before she got cut off. "You still on that shit? I already said no, what yo ass tryna get away from me or something?" He scrunched his face up, and she sat up, her hands resting against his chest. "What? I literally just wanted to model with Niki that's it. You talking bout I wanna get away from you, and you know that's not true, I don't wanna leave you at all that's why I'm staying." She spoke in pure confusion, as she stared down at him.

"How you mad I want you to be safe? I can't watch you all the way down there and you know motherfuckers crazy, you deadass can't be mad me. If you had told me sooner, I could've cleared my schedule and came with you ma, but you didn't."
Kai told her, as his hands snaked around her waist.

She could see in the concern in his face, as he looked up at her, she figured maybe he just wanted the best for her, maybe he was just overprotective and it was a good thing cause it meant that he cared, and all she ever wanted for someone to care.

"Yeah you're right that's my fault, I'm sorry I won't bring it up anymore." Aya said, fully believing every word that left his mouth. "Baby it's okay, come here." He mumbled, pulling her down to him by her neck, before pressing their lips together, slightly catching Aya by surprise.

Eventually catching on, she kissed him back, melting into the kiss fully. She deepened the kiss, allowing his tongue into her mouth, enticed by the softness of his lips that further enhanced it all.
