" Lana , please ! , I have to do this , this is the only way to destroy Voldermort ! " pleaded Regulus 

" By sacrificing yourself ! I understand you're doing this to defeat Voldermort but I'm sure they are other ways of defeating him too ! " Lana said with tears steaming down his face 

Regulus sighed and looked down 

" Lana please - " 

" Me and this unborn child need you Regulus ! " she said as she kept a hand over her bump 

Regulus looked at her and immediately pulled her into a tight embrace , as she cried into his chest , he looked at her in concern

Lana was one of the strongest people ( both mentally and physically) he knew , even after facing so much hardship in life , she never let it waver her spirit, he didn't like it, seeing her like this 

Her spirit never failed to amaze him

Lana pulled away and looked up at him , with her beautiful doe shaped green eyes , " Regulus Please ! this child needs a father ! I don't want the child to grow up without a father ! " she said

Regulus knew how much this meant to her but if his brother , friends , Lana and his child get to live in a Voldemort free world , he is ready to do anything !

" Lana love , our child will get to live in a Voldemort free world , people will love freely , children won't get orphaned " he said 

Lana's eyes went wide at this and her lips began to wobble 

Regulus hugged her tightly as sobs wrecked her small frame , he rubbed small circle on her back , kissing the top of her head.

After a while Lana pulled away and nodded

Regulus sighed in relief at this 

He immediately pulled her into a long passionate kiss, pulling away only after they were short of breath.

He smiled and looked at the girl who stole his heart , to others she was brave , kind and beautiful but for him she was perfect ! 

She along with their child were his everything !

He kissed her forehead and picked her up , twirling her around 

Lana's giggles filled the room which made him smile , he kissed her forehead one last time and said "bye ! I love you "

" I love you more ! " she said , he smiled , picked up his bag and he was out

As the inferi was dragging him down he could only think of how he never got to tell Sirius that he loved him and tell him how much he inspired him, how he never got to say goodbye to Evan and Barty , but most of all how he'll never be there to see his child grow up , " I'm sorry little one ! " , and leaving Lana alone .

" I'm sorry ! " was the last thing he whispered before the air went out of his lungs and everything went dark.

A few months after that , Lana gave birth to a healthy baby boy , he looked exactly like Regulus but had Lana's avada kadavra green eyes , she named him Leonis Sirius Black .
