REGULUS'S POV :
During dinner something strange happened
Lana furiously made her way towards Lockhart, her hair was bright red because of how furious she was, she took a deep breath and her hair turned to her natural Auburn color , Lockhart flirtatiously smiled at her, and for some reason I felt anger burst inside me .
" Hello Kendrick , did you finally decide whether or not you're going to hogsmeade with me ? " he asked
I clenched my goblet tightly , Barty raised an eyebrow at this and followed my gaze , for some reason he and Evan smirked.
" My answer is no , now come on, I have to show you something " said Kendrick and grabbed him by his ear , dragging him out of the great hall
" Ow ! Ow ! Kendrick ! " yelled Lockhart as he was dragged out , she was so furious that she didn't even notice the shocked and curious gazes of everyone in the hall.
I noticed that her best friend Xenophilius Lovegood was missing too !
" What is going on ? " I thought
As if Evan could hear my thoughts he said " what was that ? "
Barty just shrugged
Suddenly an owl flew into the great hall and landed in front of Barty , curious he opened the parcel and to our great shock it was his birthday present , there was a black leather jacket and a book on ancient runes , there was note attached to it saying :

Barty teared up at this , no one apart from us have ever done so much for him , Lana was a true friend.

Soon Valentine's week was approaching and boys and girls were handing each other letters , even during classes !
Since yesterday I had received 5 letters , five !
I was sitting at the slytherin table eating my breakfast when four more of these letters arrived in my name . Ugh !
" Looking good Reg ! " teased Evan
I shot him a glare
" Diana , Sarah, Octavia , Abby , who even are they and whose this from Oh god ! Peony ! " I said exasperatedly
Evan and Barty started laughing
I shot them an annoyed glare and my gaze went towards Lana , who was reading a book on Ancient runes
The sunlight fell on her and created a halo around her hair, she was so beautiful
" Wait ! What ? " I thought

As we were making our way to lunch , I saw a 3rd year Ravenclaw trying to flirt with Lana , but she was oblivious of this !
She was laughing at a joke he just made
Anger bubbled up inside me and I clenched my jaws and fist , Barty saw this and followed my gaze .
" Ah ! what are you doing here Reg ? go and save your girl ! be her night in shining armour! " said Barty
I made my way towards them with Barty and Evan cheering me on , seriously !
" Hey Lana ! can you check these sums whether they're correct ? " I asked
The moment her concentration went towards the book , I shot the boy a glare , he got nervous and fled away .
She raised her head and looked around " huh ! where did Damion go ? " asked Lana , I simply shrugged my shoulders .
" Anyways , all the sums are right , you've done it correctly " she said with a smile
We suddenly heard loud chatter and we turn to see my brother and his friends , my heart clenched at the sight of him , when was the last time we laughed openly? when was the last time we spent quality time together ? I miss him but does he miss me ?
I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around to find Lana looking at me with concern. " I know what you're thinking , he misses you too, I can see it in his eyes . " said Lana
I looked down and Lana sighed
" Look try talking to him okay ? make him listen to what you have to say , then give him some space and I'm sure he'll come back and sort things out. Someone has to take a step in mending your relationship. " she said
I looked up and saw sincerity in her eyes , she's right one of us have to take a step
" You're right Lana , I'll talk to him soon ! " I said and smiled at her
She smiled back and gave me a tight hug
" I have to go but i'll see you soon " she said and gave me a wave
I stared after her quite hopelessly
Barty and Evan came up to me and whispered in my ear " Reggie is in love ! "
" Shut up ! " I whispered back and they started laughing
