The Ritual

LANA'S POV :

According to the book I read , this ritual is very powerfull and should be done only in the supervision of someone who knows or has experienced dark magic , and that too only an adult.

So I immediately wrote a letter to Mr.Burke asking for his supervision in the ritual , he agreed to help but with a price , I have to work in his shop as his assistant this summer, I agreed.

We've decided to do this ritual during the summer break

I know asking Mr.Burke for assistance is not one of my greatest moves but what can I do destroying the hocrux is necessary.

Suddenly a voice of laughter broke me away from my thoughts , I looked up to see dad , Pettigrew and uncle Padfoot walking towards Snape . Uncle Moony was sitting under the tree not even trying to stop them .

Suddenly I heard dad yelling " LEVICORPUS " ! 

Mom furiously walked up to him

" Oh boy ! " I whispered under my breath and ran towards them

I was feeling so bad , how could dad do this to Severus ?

As dad was going to hex Severus again out of frustration, I came forward and deflected the Spell , shooting dad a furious look

" What do you think you're doing girl ? " asked Uncle Padfoot, I prevented myself from flinching 

"  Don't you feel ashamed ? " I asked all four of them , yes even uncle Moony

The four of them looked shocked , especially Severus , why didn't anybody stand up for him ?

" You simply bully people for your amusement don't you? you claim to be nothing like the death eaters but your actions speak otherwise " I said shooting them one more furious look .

Helping Severus up , he gave me another shocked look and ran away to his dormitory, I think 

I walked back to the hufflepuff dormitory too, ignoring all the shocked looks sent towards me

During dinner uncle Moony approached me , I turned away and said " If it's about today's incident, I don't want to talk about it ! " 

He sighed and said " No actually I'm here to say thank you " , I looked up at him shocked

" You managed to stand up to them, I didn't have the courage to do it " he said 

" You know right , It's because of your silence that so many people suffered at the hands of d- James and Sirius , especially the Slytherins " I said and he looked down ashamed

" Not all Slytherins are bad or evil , you should know that, just because of a few bad eggs the whole house suffers , nobody from Slytherin went out of their way to bully someone! " I said , his face turned pale

I took a deep breath , " look , a person who tolerates injustice is a culprit as much as the person committing them, don't be scared to stand up to your friends " I said and kept a hand on his shoulder, he looked up at me and nodded. Heading out of the great hall.

I sat down and took several deep breaths trying to calm my breathing down 

Unbeknown to her a few slytherins who were eavesdropping on thier conversation, looked at Lana with a new found respect , especially a certain grey eyed boy who couldn't stop staring at her, his adoration increasing for the girl even more .

REGULUS'S POV :

" Your head over heels for her " whispered Evan in my ears , I couldn't help but nod 

Still staring at her as she was taking deep breaths
