Lana was seated beside Aphrodite for her defence against the dark arts lessons , when Regulus walked in with Selena and his other friends .
They immediately took the seat in the very back of the classroom
" I've heard that this time, an auror from the ministry has been assigned as our DADA teacher, do you think he's any good ? " asked Aphrodite
" Don't know, but he's said to have managed to capture more criminals then Mad eye and that's saying something " Lana whispered back
Then only a wizard , who looked to be around his mid 50's entered the classroom and the chatter died down
" Good morning class , I'm professor Lionhart and I'll be teaching you defence against the dark arts ! " he said , his voice was firm
" Any questions ? no ? very well ! then let's start ! everyone your wands out please ! " yelled professor Lionhart
Everybody did as told and the professor took them to an isolated classroom
" EXPECTO PATRONUM ! " he yelled and a silvery horse came galloping out of his wand , filling the classroom with warmth
" This what I presented to you is the patronus charm my friends, it's said to be emitting so much positive energy that it can drive out even the most darkest creatures like dementors , away , but it's very tough to do so " said professor Lionhart
" Think of a memory or a moment which brings you warmth, comfort , fondness and cast the charm " he said and immediately people started to work.
All of tem had divided themselves into groups, while Lana and Aphrodite decided to work in pairs and stood in the side, watching everyone.
At the Slytherin group, people tried casting it but failed, Regulus took a deep breathe and thought about his moments with Sirius , Evan and Barty but only managed to emit a wisp. Unknowingly earning 5 points for Slytherin.
He sighed and looked around, his eyes falling on Lana , who was standing beside Aphrodite, casting the spell, he could easily tell that the girl was trying to hold back and that was something professor Lionhart noticed as well.
A smile etched on his features as he saw Lana giving Aphrodite ,her adorable doe eyes , a term coined by Barty, who was always on the receiving end of these eyes.
This could make even the toughest of people melt, and that was the many things Regulus loves about her.
He took a deep breathe thinking about Lana and yelled "expecto patronum !" and a silvery horse , no ! It's face was too thin to be of a horse, it was a ... doe .
The doe immediately ran up to Lana , who looked down at it in shock
" Bravo ! bravo mr. Black ! you've done it ! 10 points to slytherin " yelled Mr. Lionhart
While Lana looked up at Regulus with tears in her eyes
" Your patronus may change over the period of time , this can happen from a huge shift in a person's character, bereavement, or falling in love " he said
" Reg ! no way can your patronus be a doe ! , you've fallen in love haven't you ? " asked an excited Barty
