Summary: The turtles and Karai celerbrate Father's Day with Splinter!

It was Father's Day, a special day in the Hamato sewer-hold. The turtles and Karai had woken up early, at 6 in the morning, to plan something special for Splinter.

It was Karai's first Father's Day with her real father. She'd never celebrated it before, because Shredder could care less about holidays. The teen was looking forward to celebrating her true father.

"So, what should we do for father? It has to be really special." Leo asked as he and his siblings were in the kitchen talking. They all hummed, brainstorming.

In the past, the turtles had always drew pictures for on Father's Day. This year, they all wanted to do more than that. "Let's get him some cool stuff!" Mikey cheered.

"Good idea, little brother!" Raph replied. Karai could easily go into a store and buy things, even if the turtles couldn't. Donnie got his laptop and looked up stores near them.

Immediately, there were quite a few things that captured the siblings' interest. Karai took pictures of the things on the screen so she could find it in the stores.

"I'll go to the stores and buy the gifts!" She announced, grabbing her handbag. "I'll make sensei a delicious dessert!" Mikey added. "And we can all work together to make a card!" Donnie replied.

"But be careful, we don't wanna wake dad." Raph added softly. They all agreed to be quiet and discreet.
The teens then got to work.

Karai went to the store, Mikey went to the kitchen, and Leo, Raph, and Donnie got some wrapping paper, bows, and gift bags. They all worked quickly and quietly.

A half hour later, Karai returned with five things. "I'm back, luckily I found all of the gifts!" She announced. "Good work sis." Leo smiled. "I need help finishing the dessert, you dudes wanna help?" Mikey asked.

Leo, Raph, Mikey, and Karai looked at Mikey in suprise. "What happened to us being banned from the kitchen?" Donnie joked. "It's a special occasion, D!" Mikey replied.

A few minutes later, the five of them were in the kitchen. The others had to follow Mikey's instructions carefully and be very careful.

And not burn anything!

Soon, the dessert was ready. Now, they just had to wrap the presents and make the card. Splinter was still asleep, but it was 8:30 now. He'd be up by 9:30.

"Come on guys, let's get this stuff wrapped." Leo said as each of them wrapped a gift, put a bow on it, and put some in gift bags.

Raph then grabbed a large poster. The turtles and Karai folded it in half and grabbed paints, colored markers, pictures, glue, and glitter glue. The glitter glue was Mikey's idea!

Together, the siblings created a beautiful card for Splinter. By the time they were finished, it was almost 9:30. "Okay guys, remember the plan." Karai whispered.

A few minutes later, Splinter woke up and walked out of his room. He entered the lair area but didn't see his sons anywhere. The rat looked around.

Suddenly, the turtles and Karai popped out from their hiding places. "Happy Father's Day, papa/daddy/dad/father!" The teens cheered.

Splinter's eyes widened in suprise as his children tightly hugged him. Once he came out of his shock, Splinter hugged his kids close to him.

"Oh, my! Thank you, my children." Splinter smiled at he cuddled the five of them close. "Don't thank us yet! Wait till you see everything we got!" Mikey churred.
