Stevie Nicks sat nervously on the couch, watching as her little white dog, Lily, cautiously approached the man sitting across from her. Y/N was his name, and Stevie had a good feeling about him. But she couldn't help but feel anxious, knowing that Lily's approval was crucial.
As Lily sniffed around Y/N's feet, Stevie couldn't help but reminisce about all the previous boyfriends who had failed to win over her furry companion.
"Every single time I've brought a guy home, Lily has growled and barked at them," she explained to Y/N. "I always thought it was just because she's a feisty little thing, but now I'm starting to think she can actually sense whether a guy is right for me or not."
Y/N chuckled and reached down to pet Lily, who immediately started wagging her tail and licking his hand. Stevie's heart swelled with relief and happiness as she watched the two of them bond.
"I think we've got her approval," Y/N said with a smile.
Stevie let out a laugh of delight. "I think you're right. This is a good sign, Y/N. I haven't had a boyfriend pass the Lily test in years."
As they settled in for the evening, Stevie felt grateful for Lily's discerning taste in men. She knew that her little dog had saved her from a lot of heartache in the past, and she trusted that Lily had led her to the right person this time around.
