First Debate round part 2

Hostess: Alright so let's start so our first topic is... How can we as a society reduce our eco footprint let's start with Richwood's choice
Brenda: Alright so I'll go first remember this is what we've been training for.
Clare: What training I've only been given the 5 minute explanation from the walk here.
Brenda: It's okay remember they pick a member from our side while we pick on from theirs.
Clare: What about the rest of them we can't beat them with just the three of us.
Anais: No worries everyone else should arrive soon we just need to make it past round one and hopefully they'll arrive.
Brenda: No worries we got this.
Hostess: Alright Richwood who are you going to choose your opponent for round one.
Troy: The green haired girl over there.
Clare gulped nervously.
Hostess: Alright let's go, So the first topic of the day.... Climate change. 
The girls huddled up.
Brenda: Alright Anais you go up.
She took a deep breath and looked Troy in the eyes with confidence.
Hostess: Ok so how do you approach the issue of climate change.
Troy: Well sense it's not a huge issue I so clearly while we send a small team over to deal with that we can focus on more important issues for example what to do about school nutrition and how we can make them more nutritious. The Richwood kids cheered as they awkwardly clapped hearing the motionless roar behind them Anais (whispers): how do they even clap? As Clare and Brenda shrugged their shoulders not knowing the answer.                                                         
Hostess: Alright so Elmore how do you respond to this- Anais: That's just simply not true don't let Troy deceive as you see climate change has The students murmured amongst themselves in agreement. Anais: You see climate change has been an issue that has existed for several years if not centuries throughout history. Climate change has not only cause extreme winters causing record lows but it has also caused record highs endangering species like the polar bears that could be gone within years! So what we really should do is help our eco footprint as much as possible nearby The students of Elmore cheered them on as Anais stood proudly and confidently at her work Hostess: And.... that's round one folks we'll be back in 5! The girls that head back to the locker room. Brenda: Alright.. we survived the first round Clare: Anais that was SO good you were great out there!         Anais: yeah well we still have two rounds.... man i hope they get here in time.
Brenda: Any update from the bus
Anais: No... and even worse they lost signal so i have no idea if they'll even get here. Brenda: Hey it's ok I'm sure they're ok and we'll be too we got this! Clare: Yah.
Anais: Ok you guys ready?"
Clare and Brenda nodded firmly.
The girls then went outside bravely prepared to face the music as the hostess smiled at them.
Hostess: Alrighty then let's continue shall we.
The girls gulped nervously but they tried to hide their nervousness.
Hostess: Alright second question, What is your opinion on the school dress code?
The girls huddled up and Anais and Brenda smiled.
Both girls: Clare!
Clare looked at them confused: Me? No I can't-
Brenda hovered over her hands
Brenda: I know you can just trust yourself and who you stand for.
Anais smiled
Anais: you got this!
Clare smiled at the girls and nodded.
Clare: Let's blow this popsicle stand! The girls than walked out there with a bold smile on their faces as they prepared for their final debate that will determine their future. Hostess: Alright and we're back ladies and gentleman we're now approaching the final debate of the evening so Carlton what is your opinion of the school dress code? Carlton: I say yeah dude the schools need to implement it because girls at these are wearing clothes that are far too revealing if you ask me so this can cause all the boys to be distracted and even the rest of the students as well. That did it. Clare was more fired up than ever to take him on and felt so ready to beat him as her confidence skyrocketed so much she felt as if she could take on the world. The hostess gave a small smile as she said the next statement. Hostess: So Clare what do you-                          Clare: I disagree!                                                   She felt so fired up she stood boldly so fired up for what she was going to say next. Clare: Clothes.. are so much more than just something to cover up our bodies they can... represent ourselves. Last year I was almost going to a different school but thanks to..(laughs) a little help. she remembered the whole charade that gumball caused making her laugh a little but knows she wouldn't be here without his help. Clare:(Normal) Anyways clothes are a part of who we are they represent our history, our connections DARN IT they're apart of our literal identity! I.. couldn't imagine what i would be or who i would be without it and they help show all of us who we are even if we aren't always proud to show it. She smiled proudly as the hostess said softly Hostess: Time... Then as if on command the entire Elmore Junior High roared as they clapped and cheered for them as Carlton and troy just scoffed at them. Clare then reunited with them smiling embarrassed.                                                     Anais: That was.... AWESOME where did that come from? Clare:(Shocked) I.. don't know Brenda:GIRL you have to join the debate team i never seen that from you! Clare pondered on everything she just did and smiled sneakily Clare: I'll think about it. She than hugged Brenda tightly even though she knew that she proply couldn't feel it. she pulled away as Brenda looked confused.                 Brenda: what was that for? Clare: for... everything thanks for being my friend She smiled softly                                         Brenda: Always!                                                     Clare walked over to give her boyfriend Josh a hug and a small kiss as Brenda walked over to her blue dragon brother                   Marun:Ready sis?                  Brenda smiled feeling peace contrary to the anxiety this morning                                    Brenda: Always!                                          She then hugged her brother as she felt his soft scales knowing that he was one of the few people in this world she could hold. she pulled back as he smiled curiously.                                     Marun: You ok you're not really a hugger         She smiled with a scoff and laughed        Brenda: Shut up come on let's go home.         They than flew home together as she felt the love and courage from all those around her enjoying the moment of happiness and bliss.                (A/N Hello old friends guess who's back!
