So when reconciliation happens, does it really and truly solve everything? Do we leave things in the past, or do the problems re-emerge in the form of fears? Love is never easy, is it? Not real love anyway. Where do we draw the line between love and nostalgia?

With trouble around every corner, how long will it take for it to divide us? Can we conquer what we do not know? How will we ever be prepared? I longed to know what was really happening in Hawkins, but what will it do to me once I know the truth? The summer of '85, after the events of The Battle of Starcourt, were they the only moments of peace I would be afforded?

Can we really reconcile our pasts? What things will resurface when we confront Hawkins? Has something ugly grown under something that was once so beautiful? Have we put things in the past away too quickly? What if these thorns grew between us?
