It came time for the formation of the large groups, so the girls headed back to the gym. The same teacher from before went on the stage and babbled about how they still have the freedom to choose who they want to work with as long as there are members of all year levels in their group, yeah yeah they get it.
Their group didn't really know what to do.
"Should we go look for third years first? I know a few off the basketball team." Onodera suggested, fiddling with her silicone wristband.
"Not a bad idea." Kei commented. "Plus, they know more about this than we do so- "
"Yo. Horikita Suzune, was it?"
Suzune turned around to see a girl with platinum white hair waltzing on up to her group with no shame in the world.
"Hi, that's me." She had to look up to meet the other girl's gaze (she had to be at least 170cm tall, geezus). "Is there something you need from me?"
"Yeah. Let's be in a group together."
... okay.
"Uh-" She glanced around her own group. "What do you guys think?"
"I'm not opposed." Sakayanagi almost immediately said.
"I think it's a good idea. We've never done this exam before." Shinohara spoke up. The girls all agreed on it and Suzune looked back to her senior.
"Looks like we're a team."
"Nice." Suddenly, Kiryuuin Fuka grabbed a hold of her forearm and pulled her towards the other side of the gym. When they reached another group of girls, Kiryuuin yanked Suzune forward and she stumbled on her feet. "Found a first-year group."
"Wow, Kiryuuin-san." A girl with brunette hair walked towards her. "Normally you don't even participate whatsoever. A change of heart?" Nazuna Asahina. A chill and playful girl who believes in the ways of destiny and fate via a piece of metal. Sees blondie bitchboy as someone in need of some humbling.
Kiryuuin just waved her off. "Watching my every move? Who would've thought little miss popular was obsessed with me?"
"Oh, get over yourself." Asahina then extended a hand towards Suzune. "Nazuna Asahina, class 2-A."
"Uh- Horikita Suzune, class 1-C." She shook her hand.
"Oh my, the past president never mentioned having a younger sister!" Asahina got an evil like grin on her face. "I'll have to tease him about it later."
"I'd pay money to see that."
"Good to know we're on the same page." Asahina gestured towards the second-year girls behind her. "Welcome to our large group." Asahina then turned to one of her acquaintances. "Found a third-year group?"
"Yeah!" Asahina went over to greet them while Suzune was pulled back by the collar. "What the hell was that all about?"
"You expect me to know?" Suzune removed Kei's demon grip on her jacket. "I've never met her before."
Kei hmphed.
Their large group had a total of 37 members. After confirming it with the staff, they were dismissed and headed back to the cabins.
She has to spend 8 days with other people?
Blegh.

Cheery music blasted through the speakers. And it wasn't the type everyone danced or sung too. No, it was like having the one happy kid on a Monday morning yelling random unicorn shit into your ear drums.
