Quick disclaimer: This has got Autistic Wylan Van Eck, and Trans Jesper Fahey. It also has some mentions of an autistic meltdown. So if you don't wish to read along, you're more than welcome to read elsewhere with the other one shots I have so far. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wylan could feel his heart racing as he struggled to control his breathing. The noise was just too much, too overwhelming. He could feel himself sliding down the wall and into what seemed to be a small, empty cupboard. His habits kicked in as he let out his sounds - two 'Brr's, two 'Choo's, and three whistles in repeated succession - but even that didn't help this time.

He closed his eyes tightly, trying to regulate his emotions. He slammed the heels of his hands together over and over, but the pain didn't distract him from the overwhelming noise outside.

Tears threatened to spill out of the corners of his eyes, but Wylan tried to control his breathing as he rocked back and forth. He pulled his sweater over his knees and wrapped the sleeves over his hands, pressing his face against the soft yarn and digging his teeth into his lower lip to try and distract himself. But the noise still broke through.

Suddenly, the door creaked open, and Wylan prayed it was Jesper or Nina.

It was Jesper, and Wylan felt his heart leap in relief. Jesper's face was filled with concern as he took in Wylan's state and immediately rushed over to him. "Hey, hey, it's okay. You're okay. Just breathe, Wylan."

Jesper's calming presence was enough to make Wylan feel like he wasn't alone anymore. Jesper pulled him into a warm embrace, holding him tightly as Wylan's tears finally broke free.

"I've got you, Wylan. Everything's alright. You're alright," Jesper whispered, his voice soothing and calm.

Wylan felt the tension that had been coiled inside him slowly start to release. Jesper always knew how to comfort him, how to make him feel safe and secure despite the chaos around them.

Wylan shifted on the bed, looking at Jesper with a faint blush on his cheeks. "I want to lay down. Do you want to stay?" he asked, hoping that Jesper wouldn't mind cuddling instead of anything more intimate.

Jesper smiled warmly, scooting over to make room for Wylan. "Of course, I'd love that," he replied, patting the space beside him.

As Wylan lay down, he felt Jesper's arm wrap around his waist, holding him close. Jesper's breath tickled the back of his neck, and he couldn't help but feel safe in his arms. But after a few moments, Jesper leaned in to kiss him. Wylan froze, feeling uncomfortable.

"I-I'm sorry, Jesper," Wylan said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I don't really like kisses."

Jesper pulled back, his eyes searching Wylan's face for a moment. "That's okay, Wylan," he said softly, pressing a gentle kiss to Wylan's forehead. "I have another idea."

Wylan smiled at his boyfriend as Jesper continued to pepper him with sweet kisses on his forehead. Wylan couldn't help but feel loved and cherished in this moment, knowing that Jesper would always respect his boundaries and find other ways to show his love and affection.

Later that day, Wylan stood in his warehouse, surrounded by rows of phosphorus bombs he had been working on. The smell of chemicals mingled in the air, triggering a wave of sensory overload. The noise of his racing thoughts grew louder and he felt a surge of panic washing over him. He needed Jesper, he needed comfort.

Just as the overwhelming feeling threatened to consume him, Jesper burst through the door, a look of worry etched on his face. "Wylan! Are you okay?" he called out, rushing over to his side.
