1 month later...
Monica's pov

"Do you want me to come home? I don't like the fact that this person keeps finding where your car is and leaving you notes and now they're texting you too..."

I was beginning to grow more and more anxious as Brandy continued to show me the text and notes that this mystery person was leaving her.

I didn't like it at all and I couldn't help but shake the feeling that it was leading up to something dangerous. Plus it didn't help the fact that this has been happening for a whole month. I wanted nothing more than to ease my nerves by being by her side. That way I knew she was safe.

But of course Brandy was refusing for that to happen. She didn't think it was a big deal. She seemed to think it would blow over, but I've seen enough crazy shit to know that just wasn't happening.

"Baby, I'm fine and so are the kids. I'm not letting some punk who can't even say these threats to my face cause you cancel your tour.." She replied.

"I'm not going argue with you on it but if you even feel the slightest uncomfortable you need to say something because I'm coming home.."

"Okay... I just think you're giving whoever this is the reaction they want. They want us to be on edge or scared but it's not happening.."

"You know I'm not scared I just don't want anything to happen to you and that's the feeling I'm getting.." I sighed.

"I promise I'm fine." She replied and I gave tight lipped smile before she changed the subject.

"Now, how was your show last night?"

"It was good... I'm glad I don't have one tonight. I need a break."

"Where's son son?" She asked causing me to laugh. "He's with my stylist. He's now become fascinated with shopping and how she styles me so I let him be great with that.."

"Aww he does always pick out nice outfits for himself. I wonder if he'd like to design clothes and make them.." She said.

"He probably would.."

Mazi was very creative, something that seemed to only grow more and more each day. I couldn't wait to see what his creativity could grow into in the future.

"You know what? Actually I do want you to come home, baby.." Brandy said randomly.

"Okay, I'll tell my assistant to get the flights now.." I responded, grabbing my phone, and typing out the text.

"I'm just playing..." She laughed. "I just want you to come home because I miss you but you have a job to do. Maybe me and the kids can come see y'all instead.."

"Fine but y'all have to stay for at least a week. I miss you guys a lot.."

"We miss you and Mazi too. I'll look into the best time to plan this and then we can meet you in the city you'll be in.." She said and I nodded.

"Okay that might ease my worries a bit.." I sighed as I sat the camera up to start brushing my hair.

My eyes were focused in the mirror causing me to not pay attention to Brandy at all as she got quiet. Once I got my hair into the perfect ponytail shape I grabbed a hair tie and secured it.

My eyes finally met hers through the phone once again causing me to smile. She seemed so focused and content watching me. I couldn't help but feel admired.

"What?" I smiled.

She shook her head before letting out a breath as she continued to watch me. I secured the ponytail in the middle of my head just as she spoke up again.
