"Do well okay? And stay safe" I hug Theo as I stand outside his school building. He looks so tiny with his heavy bag hanging over his shoulders.
"Don't worry rev', your brother is a supaman" He said patting his chest which made me giggle.
"It's 'superman' young man" I ruffle his black hair. Theo had so many things to see in life. He was just six. but for his age, my young man was too mature. He knew something wasn't right at the place where we lived at, but he didn't know what is was. He didn't have to.
I'll make sure that he's out of there in no time. I work two jobs to provide him with a proper meal. He's the most understanding six year old I've ever seen. He never begs for anything and being stubborn is something he doesn't even know of.
Theo is just too afraid of expressing his emotions because he knows how he will be treated for showing them. As much as I try to hide the bitter truth from him, I can't. He lives in the place we can no longer call home.
"bye, cutie. Enjoy your day" I peck his forehead and he makes a disgusted face pretending to wipe of my kisses. He never does though. Hehe. He's so cute.
I wait for Hayley in the parking lot after seeing Theo off. Hayley worked at the florist shop with me, I loved being surrounded with beautiful flowers. They remind me of how to bloom in the most perfect way even after the most terrible storms. How to transform from just a mere bud.
I really had no friends but that's okay. Because Mr. Gogo, Hayley, Theo and Mr. Simon were the cutest people in my life!
They are my pillars. Hehe, but theo is so short. Would it be awkward to have a six year old as your bestie? I don't care really. The world is weird enough.
Nothing is awkward in being besties with your brother.
"Oi! Fatass get in" I hear the sharp piercing voice of Hayley. She leans her hand out of the window with a toothpick in her mouth. She had her shades on and was blasting some weird music in her car. Oops, I mean Ms. Dimmy.
"Woah! You look so hot" She winked as I open the car door. I blushed getting inside the car. I don't think I looked good though, I wore a baby blue dress that reached my mid-thigh and I paired it with a white oversized cardigan. My hair were half-tied and I wore my only pair of Converse as shoes. It is cute anyways, because Theo chose it.
He threw a five minutes twenty seconds tantrum before actually deciding what I can wear.
