As the night settled and wizards told the coach they were police officers and the motel staff were being arrested, all the students returned to Beacon Hills with the bus. After that, Stiles insisted on personally driving you home with his jeep, despite the persistent offers from your wizard friends -who followed the bus to be sure you're safe- to accompany you. Their concern for your safety was obvious, but Stiles had a determined glint in his eyes.

"I've got it covered, guys. I'll make sure she gets home safely," Stiles assured them.

Your wizard friends exchanged knowing glances, their expressions a mix of concern and understanding. Sirius spoke, his voice tinged with a hint of mischief. "Just remember, Stiles, if anything happens to her, we know where to find you."

Stiles rolled his eyes, his lips curling into a smile. "Yeah, yeah, I'll be her personal bodyguard, don't worry."

As the others bid their farewells and reluctantly left, you found yourself alone with Stiles in the quiet of the night. The two of you stood by his jeep, the soft glow of the moon casting a gentle light over the scene.

Stiles cleared his throat, his cheeks faintly tinged with a blush. "So, ready to head home?"

You nodded, a smile playing at the corners of your lips. "Yeah, thanks for this, Stiles. You didn't have to do it, but I appreciate it."

He shrugged, his gaze warm as it met yours. "Hey, it's not every day I get to play the role of knight in shining armor."

As you climbed into the passenger seat and Stiles settled behind the wheel, the engine roared to life, filling the air with a comforting hum. The journey began, the soft rumble of the jeep providing a soothing backdrop to the conversation that flowed between you.

With every passing mile, you couldn't help but feel a sense of happiness bubbling up from within you. The fact that Stiles had insisted on accompanying you, spoke volumes about his genuine concern and the growing feelings that you sensed between you both.

As the soft moonlight bathed the interior of the jeep and the night air whispered through the open windows, you stole glances at Stiles, his features illuminated by the dashboard lights. There was a certain comfort in his presence, a feeling that you were safe and understood.

"So, how are you feeling after all that craziness?" Stiles asked, glancing at you with genuine concern.

You leaned back against the seat, your expression thoughtful. "It was intense, no doubt. But we managed to pull through. Thanks to all of you."

Stiles' grip on the steering wheel tightened, his tone earnest. "We've got each other's backs, you know? No matter what."

As you reached your destination, Stiles brought the jeep to a halt in front of your home. The air was thick with a mixture of gratitude and reluctance, a moment suspended in time.

You turned to face Stiles, your eyes locking with his. "Thanks again for this, Stiles. You're always there when I need you."

His gaze held yours, his voice softening. "That's what friends are for."
