Chapter -3

This is before Mittal's got to know that Riya had eloped.

Aaruhi's POV

It felt like a huge bomb had been dropped on my head . I don't know what to answer papa .
I didn't have any answer to papa's question.

Papa and I always had differences because we had different thinking about almost everything .But that didn't mean we didn't love each other ,we did but didn't really show each other openly, you can say our relationship was kind of complicated because at one point we were teasing each other and the other we had a disagreement on something.
I had always wanted to make papa proud, happy , I always wanted to see his eyes shine when he talked to me .

At one point , I was thinking  that if I agree to get married then will I make papa happy , will he be proud of me , but on the other side I was thinking about my dreams , career, life , everything. I didn't know what was written in my Destiny ,what life wanted from me .

Aaru beta, have you decided ,asked papa as he entered the room .

I looked towards mumma wanting her to say something, wanting her to tell me what I should do , to tell me whether I should get married or not .
She came towards me and cupped my face and said ,aaru , beta , it's your decision you can decide what you want to do , but remember they are nice people,they will keep you happy .

At that moment, I decided to just go with the flow , I decided to just let destiny do what it wants to do. If both my parents think I'll be fine after marrying that guy , then I'll trust them and marry him .

I have decided   Papa , i'll marry him , I'll take Riya didi's, place .

Continuation when abhiman's dad asked mr.manish Garg about aaruhi's decision.

Abhimaan's POV

Yes , my daughter has agreed to take Riya's place , said Mr. Manish Garg

I  want to meet your daughter before I agree ,and hear from herself whether she wants to marry or not and make sure there's no pressure on her , I said to Mr.Manish Garg.

I entered a room adjacent to the one I was in earlier, there stood a girl , dressed in a wedding attire looking outside the window lost in her thoughts.

I cleared my throat to make my presence known , she turned to me and came out of her thoughts .
I was shocked as she looked so young  .

How old are you ,was the first question that I asked her .

Nineteen , she replied.
I was shocked , because at an age where she should think of her career, dreams , life ,then why the hell is she agreeing to marry me , why is she agreeing to take such a huge responsibility on her shoulders .

Why have you agreed to marry me , is anyone forcing you to get married, you don't have to marry me , if you don't want to marry then you can tell me , no will blame you, I asked her  .

No one is forcing me to get married to you, I have taken this decision myself , she replied

Don't you want to study , focus on your career, dreams rather than marrying me , I asked

I do but right now , our families reputation is also important and about my study , career,then I can focus on them even after marrying you , I am not going to stop studying even after marrying you , she replied

I was happy with the fact that atleast she wanted to study ,she was brave enough take a decision for herself  for her future but also angry at the fact that how much she was sacrificing for her family just because her cousin decided to run away .

What if I don't allow you to study , focus on your career after marriage , I asked her .

She remained silent, a look of fear appeared on her face , a fear of losing her dreams but it was soon changed with a neutral face as if she didn't want me to know what was going on in her mind. 

I will still marry you , and about my career and dreams then If it will be in my Destiny to fulfill them then I will be able to fulfill them , she replied .

See you at the altar , I said and with that I left the room leaving her.

So finally abhimaan and aaruhi wedding is going to happen in the next chapter.
