(I'm starving and dying of dehydration and I'm not gonna do anything about it. Enjoy a chapter I wrote because I needed to vent and this is better than venting.)

(I'm so sleep deprived and this chapter keeps switching between past and present tense but idc read it or leave it no criticism accepted)

(PS: I wrote this while listening to angsty love songs. Sorry for the angsty chapter lol)

<DESTRUCTION'S POV>

"Should we send a note to Zeus to call the council or should we just go?" I asked Chaos, making everybody look up from their thoughts.

"I'll write a note just in case," Chaos shrugged.

"Ooh, can we swear?" Eta asked, his eyes sparkling.

"Not unless we have to," I laughed.

"Oh, come on!" Dove whined.

"We can swear during the meeting, how about that?" I offered.

"YES!" Forger exclaimed.

"Should we use the same cloaks as last time?" Order asked.

"It would be a waste not to," Chaos shrugged, summoning a pen and paper.

He quickly wrote something on it and flashed the note out of the room.

"We should get ready now," Order muttered.

"What terms are we on with Zeus?" Dove asked.

"He hates us and the feeling is mutual," I replied without hesitation.

"He doesn't like being outpowered," Order sighed.

"Somebody needs a reality check," I muttered sarcastically.

"Fine, if you want to yell at him so bad, we can use Chase as a bargaining chip. Moreso for threatening, but ehh," Chaos winced.

"I can use Chase against Athena, and Athena against Zeus. Poseidon... well, last time I saw him, it was going good. As good as it can get. It's still cold between us, but I could cut ties immediately if he's not on our side. We have hundreds of thousands of gods, we aren't spending our time to please one," I told them.

"Hades is on our side, though. He would be, at least," Chaos interjected.

"You were on good terms with Hestia, Apollo and Hermes last time," Forger added.

"Not Hermes. Not anymore, at least," I immediately hissed.

"Why? What happened?" Eta asked, looking at me with confusion.

"He checked Chaos out and made her uncomfortable," I replied angrily.

Eta gaped at me.

"Whoa- what?!" He asked.

"You heard me," I muttered.

"What the actual fuck? Gods can't be trusted," Dove said dissapointedly, shaking her head.

"What about Apollo, though?" Forger asked.

"We haven't talked. It depends on whose side he chooses with the whole Hermes situation, considering they're best friends," I shrugged.

"How did you even get into that situation with Hermes, though? How did you ever meet up? When?" Eta asked in disbelief.

I winced, glancing at Chaos. He was avoiding my eyes, and rightfully so. We didn't talk about the incident but I still had kissed Hermes.

It gets weirder when I think about the fact Hermes is Eta's father.

I didn't know if Chaos felt hurt by the incident, and he had to, because it was a horrible thing I did.
