Comfort me

It was three in the flipping morning and I was wide awake. Tossing one last time, I made a one final attempt to get even a little comfortable but to absolutely no avail. Sighing, I look over across the bed from me and see Soda's dark blue eyes trained on me.

"Are we going to talk now?" He asks propping himself up on one elbow.

"There's nothing to talk about. " I say almost coldly.

"Really? Because I wouldn't define you almost taking yourself away from me forever as nothing." He snaps.

I am taken aback. I mean I don't think Sodas ever yelled at anyone. I sigh and look at his trembling form and realize what it must have done to him to see me like that.

"I'm sorry. Your right." I say sighing as I wrap my arms around his neck and burry my head in his neck.

"Please don't ever do something like that again." He whispers, his tone border lining brokenness.

"I'm so sorry." I repeat, hugging closer as he wraps his arms around me tightly.

"I love you." He whispers
"And I love you." I whisper back.
"Can you go to sleep now?" He asks.
I nod and lay on his chest, letting the steady rhythm of his heartbeat soothe me to sleep.
