2 Weeks Later

Taylor lay there in her hotel bed in the midst of the night, she glanced out the window looking at the bright skyline of Toronto; tomorrow was the night where the eras tour would come to an end, it was bittersweet. She knew it'd be a while until she was back touring but she'd hoped people would understand she'd still be working on new music because that was what she loved most. She was grateful that she lived in a world where it is not expected of women to give up a career due to motherhood but then again there were the conservative old men who made things worse. She really couldn't care less about them, they weren't going to change. She planned to announce her pregnancy at the show tomorrow, while it sounded odd, her and Travis agreed it was best, the only others aside from family who knew at this point were their friends and the other Chiefs team-members. Taylor knew she'd eventually have to fall back to sleep but the panic of how the public would react to her pregnancy came in but she knew she would have to hold it strong; before she dozed off she felt her belly and whispered,

"We're going to be alright baby-girl, your daddy and I can't wait to meet you."

Taylor watched as the crowd cheered; flashing lights

"Before we begin the final surprise song of The Eras Tour, there's something I've been waiting to share with you guys. So usually when I plan something to surprise you guys it's usually a new album or my re-recordings but this is quite personal to me so I hope you don't mind me sharing it with you guys and by all means I promise it won't stop me from putting out new music or touring for you in the future. " The crowd began to scream, she could only hope they would react well.

"So instead of just telling you, I might as well just show you." she pointed her hand towards the large screen, as it screens showed an ultrasound and positive pregnancy test with the words:

'Baby Girl arriving April 2025'

"I love you guys so much!" She exclaimed, too lost for words; the crowd screamed louder, as she stood there in awe; she knew her fans would react well and she did truly love them. After the screams died down slight; she began to strum her guitar and sing the words

"Your little hand's wrapped around my finger

And it's so quiet in the world tonight"

The crowd began to sing along; the only other time she had repeated this as a surprise song was the night that her love began. As she sang she imagined this song having even more meaning to her where she would sing it to her daughter to sleep as Travis would stand by watching over them.

"So babe, what do you think?" Asked Travis, wrapping his arm around Taylor. They had finally finished decorating their daughter's nursery. It was a lengthy process but in the end they were both satisfied. They had chosen to keep the wall cream but they poured their hearts into everything else. The crib had been mounted against the wall on it were the white and pink rose sheets they selected, across from it was the elegant white dresser with the pink changing table above it was a small round mirror with a golden frame, in the corner was a white rocking chair where Taylor imagined she'd be nursing her baby to sleep; the room was finalised with a bookshelf on top were a picture Taylor and Travis, they planned to add photos of their daughter when she had been born.

"It's just perfect." Taylor now seven months pregnant sighed, looking around the nursery she and Travis decorated. There was no denial that her fears were still there, she was more so excited, excited about bringing a human into the world; that she'd love unconditionally. In that moment she felt slight twitches in her stomach; it took her a second to process but she came to a realisation that her daughter had begun to kick, she smiled down and her stomach as she murmured to her boyfriend,
