"I already knew about it..."
He informed while she looked at him confusingly
"You knew about it?" she asked
He nodded
"Then why didn't you told me anything about it? you should have told me about it! why did you hide it from me!?"
She stood up in anger and yelled at him
She couldn't help but feel betrayed both from him and her father.
"I didn't wanted to spoil your father's image in front of you and maybe you wouldn't have trusted me" he replied looking at her
"I would've trusted you damn it! but both you and my father decided to hide it from me! I feel so betrayed right now!"
She yelled but soon her anger turned into cry and she started sobbing
He looked at her worriedly and without thinking he pulled her on his lap and hugged her, trying to console.
"Do you know how scared I was? I thought you will start hating me after this.... I thought you will push me away from you."
She mumbled into his neck
"Sssh I won't hate you. I promise" he replied caressing
"You... will not?" she asked looking at him
He shook his head in no and wiped her tears while replying softly
"I won't"
He smiled looking at her as she cutely rubbed her red nose and puffed cheeks.
Well this sight are quite rare.
"Whatever your father did has nothing to do with you, so stop blaming yourself. I hided things from you because I didn't wanted Mr Das to cage you like before."
He said caressing her cheeks while she hummed
Out of nowhere his gaze went to her lips which she was biting every now and then. He was so lost in her that he didn't even realised when he started rubbing her lips.
Whereas bondita closed her eyes and goosebumps erupted all over her body.
Was it correct?
The thing they are doing?
She didn't care about the consequences of this and give in to him when his lips touched hers.
The kiss was blissfully beautiful.
But the moment didn't last long.
When Anirudh realised what he was doing, he broke the kiss in between and started to feel guilty and... sort of feeling like he cheated
While bondita was panting heavily with a small smile.
"B... bondita you should return back to your home now. Mr Das must be tensed for you and you can take the day off today."
He informed her while she nodded and stood up to leave thinking maybe he need time to process things and she didn't mind giving him time.
As soon as she left,
Anirudh threw the vase that was on the table.
He frustratingly grabbed his hair and even kicked the table.
How could he do this? How he kiss her without her consent? forget about consent! How could he cheat on mini?
He still loves her.... right?
......
The conversation with Anirudh made her feel a lot better then before and she finally slept peacefully. But she couldn't help but think again and again about their kiss.
She smiled and touched her lips before covering her face with both of her palms.
She was falling for him but...
Was he too falling for her?
Maybe yes... or no?
She was no longer tried and wanted to go back to work in order to see him and talk to him but what can she do? he gave her a leave.
She was quite excited for the next day.
She will meet him, talk to him, help him and maybe spend some time with him...
But little did she knew, the excitement and happiness won't last long.
And it didn't.
The next day when she reached hospital, she got to know that Anirudh went out of town. He was planning to start different branches of his hospital all around the India.
And he went to Gujrat to select the staffs and doctors for the hospital, so that they could start with the hospital soon. She even got to know that he will stay there for atleast 4 to 5 months until he completes everything there.
She was quite sad and thought maybe he regretted their moment but she was stubborn enough to accept that and decided to wait for him.
Saurabh used to handle the hospital while bondita used to help him in everything.
Time passed really quickly.
There Anirudh was trying his best to keep himself busy, so that he could stop himself from thinking about her.
Whereas bondita used to think about him everyday and night, although she was quite angry on him.
Btw bondita forgiven her father because obviously no daughter can stay angry on their father for much time. She even told her father everything about anirusdh's past which made him feel more guilty.
Although he was guilty but somewhere he was tensed about her feelings for Anirudh. He too lost his wife and he could understand Anirudh's feelings.
He remembered when someone asked him to remarry he denied it because he loved his wife and was not ready to give that place to anyone else.
Anirudh too loves his wife too much and he was sure he still does. What if in all this bondita get hurts? What if he reject to reciprocate her feeling?
She will break...
And to prevent all those things to happen, he started finding suitable men for her. Whenever Arvind used to bring the topic of marriage, she would ignore it.
He just wished for his daughters happiness.
......
Bondita was pinning her saree over her shoulder properly.
This morning saurabh called and informed her that Anirudh is coming back to hospital today. She was really happy and decided to wear a saree today... for him.
The whole day in hospital she waited for him but there was no sight of him nor of Anirudh's.
It was almost 12:30am in night and she was passing from saurabh's cabin when she heard his voice. Her heart rate started increasing and decided to go inside the cabin.
She rubbed her chest and took a deep breath to calm herself down.
And as soon as she opened the door... she frozen hearing him...
It was a mistake saurabh! that kiss was not supposed to happen!
