Hyunjin and Felix spent the next 40 minutes riding every waterslide they could set their eyes on. Hyunjin couldn't help but love every second with the younger, to him it felt like the pair were in their own little bubble. Hyunjin spotted a huge waterslide up ahead so he grabbed the younger's hand and began to dash toward it giggling. The pair hadn't said much to each other the whole hour, they'd forgotten completely about the content they were supposed to be filming, instead enjoying each other's company. Hyunlix hopped into the rubber ring and the lifeguard pushed them away, excitement and adrenaline bubbled in them. Felix was gripping Hyunjin's legs and screaming whilst Hyunjin giggled at the view in front of him. This ride was dark, there were lots of quick drops with twists and turns at every corner. Suddenly, the duo were shot out into a big room that was shaped like a donut. They spun round, the disco lights bouncing prettily off the walls. Slowly the duo were sucked towards the hole in the middle of the room, the exit of the slide. The ring teetered on the edge of the hole before abruptly spinning round 180 degrees, forcing Hyunjin to go down first... BACKWARDS! Screams left both mouths this time as the turns and drops only increased in the darkness. It wasn't long before they were shot out into a water stream, their eyes being burned with the heavy fluorescent lights.
There was only time for one more ride before the time limit was up, the pair wanted to make it count. The pair sprinted towards the 6 point ride ahead of them, climbing the stairs enthusiastically, they raced to the start of the ride. Felix sat in Hyunjin's lap, the older wrapping his legs around the chick. With a small push, the pair started hurtling down the slide. It was dark and fast. Oh so fast. Hyunjin felt the animalistic urge to grip onto his angel, they were hurtling down this slide at unholy speeds and Hyunjin needed to protect Felix. Within the blink of an eye, the ride was over and the duo were shot into the pool below. Felix accidentally turned when he hit the water and Hyunjin slid fully onto him. The raven gripped onto his chick as their faces met. The plump lips latched onto the smaller red ones, smashing together in a watery mess. Hyunjin felt butterflies erupt within him, the honey scent of his angel encapsulated him and he felt at peace. And it was over in a matter of seconds. The pair ripped away from each other as they resurfaced, both blushing heavily and giving a small sheepish smile. Hyunjin could only hope the camera didn't catch that.
All 8 boys were now gathered back at the starting point. Minsung looked exhausted but they were clutching each other and smiling, 2 basco were playfully flirting with each other and the maknaes kept fighting like brothers. It was their perfect, dysfunctional family. Hyunlix stood next to each other, not daring to look at the other. Hyunjin's head was swimming with questions, his feelings for the other were running rampant in his mind. Felix wasn't too different either. He knew he had liked the raven since the day they first met, you could call it a love at first sight thing. Back then Hyunjin was rather quiet and shy, but once you got to know him he was extremely extroverted and dramatic. Felix couldn't help but admire Hyunjin's personality, he loved everything about the man, even his flaws. The kiss that the duo shared mere moments ago meant everything to Felix. It was the universes' way of telling him to keep going, keep loving the older and that one day they would be. Felix couldn't help but smile at the thought of one day being able to call Hyunjin his.
"After watching the footage and tallying up the points, we are able to announce the winners of this week's SKZ code reward..." Stray Kids straightened up, anticipation was prominent in all of their faces. The host continued in his usual classy style. "In fourth place, with 12 points... Lee Know and Han!"
In typical fashion, the boys began teasing the duo about their score. They had to wear fluffy pyjamas when going out to eat in the next SKZ code episode as punishment for going last. Hyunjin couldn't help but chuckle at the image of his Hyung in a fluffy rabbit onesie, accompanied by a clingy fluffy quokka.
"Third and Second place were separated by a mere 5 points..." The host started again. "In third place with 32 points, I.N and Seungmin!" thunderous applause and shouts echoed around as Changbin triumphantly yelled. He was excited as he was one step closer to free food! The maknaes somewhat graciously accepted their defeat and began to taunt their hyungs.
The host cleared his voice in a feeble attempt to control the room. These were 8 rowdy boys after all, only Chan was able to control them fully. "In second place, with 37 points... Chan and Changbin!" he announced. Felix and Hyunjin's mouths fell open simultaneously as Changbin gave a dramatic meltdown over the loss of food. Everyone burst into laughter at Dwekkis' dramatic behaviour and even the host couldn't help but smile a little.
"Which means in first place, winners of the grand prize... Felix and Hyunjin, with a whopping 47 points!" The pair had blown the other boys out of the water! They were 10 points ahead of their closest competition and they had nearly 4 times as many points as last place Minsung. Felix engulfed Hyunjin in the biggest and warmest hug possible and the raven couldn't help but reciprocate. Any sour feelings he had at the start of the day were gone, he and Felix had won! The duo shyly pulled away from each other and smiled while the other members started to tease them.
— One Week Later —
Felix couldn't help but feel like Hyunjin had been avoiding him and the other members. The only glimpses of the raven he got was when Hyunjin was at dance practice or when he had to take his medication. Felix had started to really miss his crush. He was trying to piece together what had caused the sudden shift in Hyunjin, why all of a sudden he never got to see his love anymore. The only thing that Felix could bring to mind was Chan's announcement of the idol assessments that were to take place tomorrow. He knew the older had his struggles, but the assessments were just to assess their visuals and talk about certain changes to fit the looks the stylists wanted. Felix couldn't help but be concerned about Hyunjin, maybe he had an issue with these assessments? All Felix knew was that he really missed the raven and wanted him back in his life.
