Another few weeks passed with the wedding date coming ever closer, the planning had begun already for the grand ceremony that would take place within the palace though at first Kaveh had thought for it to be In the kingdom's largest temple but there wasn't enough time for that. and so everything from the menu, the guest lists and of course the wedding attire was being decided on, Madam Faruzan was by your side helping you to chose your wedding dress and as you looked through references from the past you decided you wanted yours to be red

"Red?"

you smiled, "Yes, why not? though a red dress hasn't been seen since the time of Kaveh's third great grandmother but I find it be very regal"

Madam Faruzan nodded, "Very well, you there come see to her highness's request"

"Of course, and May I say that I will do my utmost to make a dress befitting for your highness"

you smiled, "Thank you, I look forward to seeing the finished product"

the royal tailor came over as you explained how you'd like it to look, you then had your measurements taken before the tailor took her leave as you were soon taken to your next appointment which was for the decorations. Until now you hadn't an Idea how busy it was to plan a wedding let alone your own but Kaveh had divided up the tasks between you both

"We should use the Sacred Padisarah's of course to decorate with, and...also Dahlia's, as for the lighting the ceremony will be at Noon so we won't need the lamps until the feast later"

Layla and Mekare stood by as the talked amongst themselves, just as you saw Al Haitham

you smiled, "Al Haitham!"

he bowed, with a little smile coming "Longtime no see your highness"

you went to hug him, "Where've you been?"

"Let's just say research sent me far but I returned after hearing It's almost time for the wedding"

you smiled, "I see, how thoughtful of you"

Madam Faruzan looked, "Well If It isn't the Royal Scribe, back from the desert I see"

"Yes Madam Faruzan"

Al Haitham leaned over, "Your Highness has been requested to come see his Majesty, and bring Madam Faruzan with you"

"Alright, thank you for telling me I think I know why" you said

a smile came to your face as you then told Madam Faruzan to come with you, walking through the hallways the servants went to and fro still preparing the palace for the wedding. Upon arriving to Kaveh's study you rapped upon the door first before he came to open It

"you're here, come In"

you and Kaveh exchanged smiles as he took your hand into his, Madam Faruzan stepped inside

she started, "Your Majesty wished to see me too?"

Kaveh smiled, "Yes, (Y/n) and I have something to ask of you"

"Of course, anything" she responded

you stepped forward, "Madam Faruzan, Kaveh and I would like to ask if you'd be his mother for the wedding In place of Queen Faranak"

Faruzan stood taken aback, "Pardon?"

Kaveh smiled and took her hand's, "Will you stand In for my mother? we ask because you've been a second mother to both of us since we were young especially after my mother left"

she brushed back one of her pale turquoise hairs, "I well...."

Madam Faruzan's eyes started to well up with tears, she brought a hand to her mouth as a tear then streamed down her cheek "My goodness...you two,"

Madam Faruzan covered her face as she started to cry, "I...I don't know what to say...I'm so honored"

she then looked up with a smile, "I've always thought of you as my children...so, if you wish It of me I will do this for you"

Kaveh smiled, "Then It's decided, you will be my honorary mother on our wedding day but not just for that day but as long as I reign you'll be recognized as such"

Faruzan started to cry some more, but she wiped her tears as she brought the both of you close into a hug, you both embraced her warmly as you held each other's hands.
