You awoke In bed as a little smile came to your lips as you roused but then as you opened your eyes, you didn't see your husband by your side as he was since last night and you understood he must've had to rise early for his duties today. still you had wanted to wake together this morning after that very blissful night you shared but It was time to come back to reality for right now
It was your first day as Queen of Sumeru, you let out a sigh as you brought the blanket up to cover your breasts as you felt the warm breeze coming In from the open air windows
Just then the doors of your chamber opened, "Good morning your Majesty!"
Layla and Mekare followed behind Faruzan as she came to your bedside, "How was your night?"
you got bashful, "Well...."
Faruzan smiled, "No need to share if you're not comfortable, now you two help me get your lady ready"
"Yes Honored Mother Faruzan" said Layla
you brought the sheet over your body as you got out of bed, then walking to the bath where the water was steaming and already full of many flower petals mostly Padisarah
"They're...Padisarah today?"
Faruzan smiled, "Yes, they're to bless you as you embark on this new day as Queen"
you nodded, "Oh, I understand"
Faruzan helped you as you stepped into the tub before sinking Into the waters, just as Mekare came to help you wash while Faruzan decided to tend to your hair right now
you turned to her, "Mother"
"Yes?"
you smiled at her, "Thank you for being here, supporting us like this I don't think I can thank you enough"
Faruzan smiled, "It's a given of course, like I said I see you and his Majesty as my very own"
but then she started to scrub through your hair a bit faster, which made you get a little dizzy before she went to get a water pot pouring water overhead to rinse out the soaps.
After the bath with their help you got dressed up, today wearing a dress that was a peachy color with golden detailing and sleeves that went to your elbows. after having your hair styled and your face adorned Faruzan brought your tiara to place atop your head as you then rose
"I'll be accompanying your lady today, you both may go" she said
Layla and Mekare bowed before they left the room, just as you adjusted your necklace a little bit Faruzan told you what would go on today and who you'd be having an audience with first so you headed off to the throne room where you sat on your throne as you waited
"Announcing the Arrival of the Royal Doctor and Alchemist Tighnari!"
the door's opened as you saw a medium height man, he had black hair with some green and tall ears atop his head that looked very adorable. he walked towards you before bowing
"Your Majesty"
you smiled, "Please rise Sir Tighnari, It's nice to finally meet the newly appointed doctor of the family"
"Indeed the Pleasure is mine, now if I may bring my first matter to your Majesty's attention"
Tighnari summoned his apprentice Collei, a young girl with green hair and purple eyes
"My Apprentice Collei, has long been afflicted with the illness Eleazar"
you were shocked, "Oh my,"
he looked to her sadly, "She's not the only one there's been more cases popping up within the more poor parts of the Kingdom with a climb In casualties"
you sat up, "I understand, I will do everything In my power to help"
Tighnari and Collei lit up, "Really?"
you smiled, "Of course, and now I believe I'd like to make my first decree as queen"
you stood up, "I hereby declare that there be new and better places to care for those afflicted with Eleazar In Sumeru no matter their Status and all will be given what they need freely"
Tighnari smiled, "Your Majesty, that's a wonderful Idea"
Faruzan looked to you in surprise, "that's quite the decree"
"Yes, and I know his Majesty shares the same opinion as me...for years I know he's given what he could to those In need and I will do the very same also, Sir Tighnari if you would with your skills learn of new cures If you can"
he bowed low, "I certainly will, as your Majesty wishes"
Faruzan clapped and they soon took their leave as the next person came to present themselves.
