Jimin P.O.V.-

Weirdly excited, I was looking through my closet while on a FaceTime call with my boyfriend.

"We should match! What color scheme do you wanna wear?" I asked him, holding up 2 different shirts as he stared at me.

"I have no idea. You choose, and I'll match you." Taehyung smiled at me, and I immediately beamed.

"Okayyy"

I grabbed a black tank top, ivory cargo pants, and a loose white denim jacket out of my closet, putting them on the bed. Grabbing my phone, I flipped the camera and showed him the outfit that I'd pulled out. "Is this good?" I asked.

"It's perfect, give me one minute." Taetae took a screenshot picture and dropped his phone on his own bed.

Trying to contain my excitement for the party that we would be going to in an hour and a half, I just sat on the bed, thinking. I have to do my hair- I can't decide whether to curl it or leave it straightened, my makeup, and my outfit.

Oh wait, it's at the beach. I should bring some swim-trunks. I reminded Taehyung before going back into my closet, grabbing my black swim-trunks with one white and one blue thin line that was on the bottom of my right thigh. He responded with a small grunt.

I haven't gone swimming in a while, and it reminded me of when me and Tae's families beach trip, where we kissed and almost drowned holding each other. It was the best and worst day of my life. Now that I have the man I'd been reaching for my whole life, though, every day just gets better and better.

"Jimin-ah, I'm done. Can you check it for me?" I looked back at my phone and saw that he was facing his camera down as well. It was black dress pants, a white long sleeve, and a big black coat that looked very expensive. Next to it was his swimsuit. I nodded in approval at the outfit, noticing that he was trying to look good.

"It looks good! I like it a lot, and we match~ Okay, now I have to do my hair, makeup, and accessories. Which one first?" I held up a couple items, asking him to choose.

He thought about it for a second, and then responded, "Makeup first so it doesn't ruin your hair, and then put the outfit on and then accessories. Is that good?" He faced the camera back at his beautiful face.

I gave a thumbs up, grinning, "Thank you, my love."

"Of course, I'll do the same-ish."

Then, we played music, and started on our own work. I could hear him singing as I curled my eyelashes, and couldn't help but beam at the sound. I loved his deep, smooth voice. It was beautiful, definitely one of my favorite sounds in the world.

I realized that, since we'd probably be swimming, I wouldn't do too much makeup. Putting on just a little bit of waterproof mascara and a lip stain. I figured this would be enough. Looking at him, he was putting powder all over his face, using a liner under his eye to make his pupils pop. He was so majestic.

Then, I went to my bathroom, listening to his sweet voice singing 'Winter Bear,' falling in love all over again. Grabbing my hair straightener, I decided to make it flat. Curly hair and salty water don't mix very well. Starting on the straightening process, I looked over at Taehyung and saw him staring at me, swooning. I smiled so hard my cheeks hurt.

"Yes, Taehyung-ah?"

"I love you Jimin." No hesitation.

"I love you more Taetae."

Jungkook P.O.V.-

"Okay, bye!"

The phone chimed as I clicked the big red button, hanging up on my friend. I got a text. It was Yeonjun, texting me that he missed me as if we weren't just staring at each other on the screen, like, 3 seconds ago. I chuckled, texting him back that I missed him too.

I switched to my music, still listening through my earbuds. "Just One Day" played in my ears, and I immediately sang along, turning around to start getting ready for the party. Putting on my white loose parachute pants and silky dark gray short sleeve, topping it with a pearl necklace and bracelet. Looking at myself, satisfied, I ruffled my hair a few times until it looked good.

When I checked the time, I still had about 30 minutes left, so I decided to curl my hair. Why not? There's going to be a lot of people, so it wouldn't hurt to look good. It's not that I like all of the unneeded attention, but I liked all of the unneeded attention. It was just so fun to play dress-up.

The next song played just as I plugged in the hair curler. Jamais Vu. Not my top-top favorite, but definitely up there. Maybe 6th or 7th. I hummed along, waiting for the curler to heat up, as I checked my phone. No new messages. Sighing, I went into Taehyung's chats and scrolled up.

I love rereading our texts, it's so nice to see how much he liked talking to me. When we just barely started texting, I tried to be so cool- It wasn't cool. I cringe every time I see it. Yet still, I look back at our chats a lot. It made me wonder if he was going, but I didn't want to ask.

"hmm hmm hmmmm please give me a- remedy~" Singing the chorus, I put the phone down on the sink and grabbed my curler. Feeling the heat coming off of it, I knew I could start on my hair. Sometimes, I feel that getting ready is better than actually being there. Not always, but sometimes.

My hair was curling beautifully, I'm so thankful. Hopefully, this can impress some people.

For the rest of the time, I just laid on my bed, scrolling, falling into the infinite void of social media.

I heard the doorbell ring, and got off my phone. Jumping off the bed, I jogged down the stairs and grabbed the door handle, peeping through the hole. Yup, Yeonjun.

I opened the door and he gave me a peace sign. I moved to the side to let him in, smiling at him as he ran upstairs after yelling "hi" to my moms. I closed the door and went upstairs with him.

"You ready? Party starts in, like, 30 minutes!" He broke out in a twerk and I couldn't help but laugh. I just nodded in response.

"Woah, I like your hair Jay-Kay." Yeonjun touched it, fluffing up my hair a little bit while admiring my work.

"Thank you, thank you. I'm very proud because my hair was NOT listening to me earlier, I had to fight it." Starting to fake-punch him, he just laughed.

Putting his hands up, we started play fighting, and of course, I won.  Not really, but I overwhelmed him with throwing arms and he gave up.

Feeling triumphant, I flexed as a joke. Posing in multiple ways, it entertained him. Finally, he smacked my chest and nodded his head towards the door. "Come on, we should get going."

"Alright, how far is it?" I grabbed my bag and we started heading out the door, talking all the way. I said goodbye to my mothers as I left.

This party is going to be so fun.
