A Really Weird Planet

We went up to the bridge to see the coordinates we arrived at and we saw something unexpected. It looked like Earth.

Peter: That looks just like... home.

Blake: Yeah. It does look like Earth.

When we went down near the Earth, we saw a statue of the High Evolutionary carrying a monkey in his arm.

Peter: It's like a replica of Earth.

Blake: Why would he want create a planet that looked like the Earth?

Peter: You're right. It makes no sense.

Nebula: Atmosphere is habitable. Gravity's Xandar minus one.

Then we dropped down further to see that the people weren't humans. They were animals. Different varieties of Animal people.

Blake: Well, this just got weird.

Zoe: Hopefully, they'll provide us answers.

We landed, opened the hatch and all walked out.

They all looked at us weird.

Peter: Hello. We mean you no harm.

A little girl dropped a ball towards Drax and he threw it at her and knocked her down.

Blake: Drax! That's a child!

One of them spoke in a unrecognizable language and they began to throw things at us.

Peter: Listen to me. He was just trying to throw her back her ball.

A rock hit him. Drax laughed and he got mad when a rock hit him.

Drax: Hey!

Peter: Come on! There's no reason...

One of them hit Mantis with a baseball bat.

Peter: Hey! Hey!

Blake: I thought the High Evolutionary made these guys nonviolent.

Zoe: I think Drax must've provoked them.

Blake: Mikey, stay behind us!

Nebula: Groot, full Kaiju!

Peter: Not full Kaiju!

"I AM GROOT!"

Groot grew in size and scared everyone off.

Peter: Back up. No, not Kaiju. Groot, down! There's no reason to be afraid. Get down, Groot!

Blake: Hey, at least they stopped.

A heard Mikey scream as he was scared by Groot.

Blake: No, no. Mikey. It's okay. He won't hurt you.

I picked him up.

Mikey: Should I go back and wait?

Blake: No, I think you'll be okay here. Stay with us, okay?

He nodded.

Peter: Everybody, it's okay.

A bat woman was left behind because she skinned her knee.

Peter: Hey. Hi. We're not here to harm you.

He went up to the woman.

Peter: Okay? See? Here.

He held out a cloth.

I approached, too, with Mikey. She saw him, and calmed down.

Peter: For your knee.

She took it.

Peter: We just need to save our friend.

The woman brought us inside our house.
