{ Your POV }

Ariana thought that I was asleep but I wasn't. Well, at first I was but at some point through her conversation with Courtney I woke up.

Courtney was right, Ariana deserved better, she should break up with me. But I don't want her to. So I'm not gonna let her.

"Hey, baby. I'm sorry, did I wake you up?" Ariana asked as she rubbed my forehead gently.

I shook my head. "No."

Ariana smiled and leaned down to place a gentle kiss on my forehead. Her lips were soft but a little cold; she wasn't feeling good, I could tell.

I got up and Ariana looked confused at me, "What's wrong?"

I shrugged, "Nothing. How are you feeling though, still feeling sick?"

"My head is hurting a little but I'm okay, thank you for asking," Ariana smiled at me.

I got up and brought her a glass of water, and she looked at me with so much love in her eyes. It was bad that something as simple as this made her happy, but I couldn't care less.

"You should take a nap," I told her.

Ariana shook her head, "I'm not tired."

"Sleep allows your body to focus its energy on fighting off the illness," I went on to explain the immune system and the proteins called cytokines to her.

She looked at me, her eyes smiling, "You're so smart. How do you know all that?"

"School, I guess," I shrugged.

I got up so I could get her some water and a painkiller.

Ariana smiled, "Thank you, baby."

I simply nodded and waited as she drank, once she was done we went into my bedroom so she could sleep in there.

I put a blanket over her and kissed her forehead before she stopped me, "Can you stay with me?"

Looking at the door, I was feeling amped up and restless. Only one thing could help, obviously drugs.

I was also trying to be more affectionate today, but it was getting too much again. She was very needy and I just couldn't deal with it.

Everything spoke against getting into bed with her, I only wanted to do so if I'd get to sleep with her but she was sick.

"Please, until I fall asleep?" Her voice sounded small and I gave in with a sigh.

No matter how hard it is to be around her, her loving voice is still hard to resist.

I got into the bed next to her and she immediately cuddled into me. My body temperature went from cold to a comforting warmth as my speeding heart actually calmed down.

I wasn't having a surge of energy anymore as I listened to her calm breath, she had fallen asleep already.

After I eventually fell asleep as well, I woke up because she was moving a lot in her sleep, her breathing had picked up as well.

I gently shook her, "Ariana? Wake up."

Ariana slowly opened her eyes, her hand went to her forehead as she groaned.

"You okay?" I asked her, feeling concerned.

"Yeah, I'm okay," She nodded.

I tilted my head to the side, she was obviously lying.

"Ari, you need to rest," I said softly, placing a hand on her forehead. She was burning up.

"I'm sure it's nothing," Ariana said as she tried to get up.
