"You're really mean, Yo-han." Eun-mi told Yo-han as the two regrouped in his office after the trial.

"How so?" Yo-han asked her, as he didn't know exactly what she was talking about.

"What you said to Judge Oh knowing she admires you and has a huge crush on you. You're going to make her think that she has a chance with you at this rate." Eun-mi told him with a frown on her face.

The phone in his office suddenly began ringing, and Eun-mi swiftly answered as it was part of her office.

"This is Bae Eun-mi, personal assistant to Judge Kang. How may I help you?"

"Ministry of Justice, please. I understand your position in this case, but there's no reason to speak so harshly."

"Ma'am, I'm not going to pass the phone to my boss if you're going to be speaking to him like this as well."

"Why? Because if you're going to belittle me, then you're going to do the same to my boss, and I can't allow that."

Yo-han had heard enough. He took the phone from Eun-mi's hand with a frown on his face and turned his back to Eun-mi.

"Don't make my assistant want to quit. She's doing her job and shouldn't be put down because of it." Yo-han told Cha Gyeong-hui with no care in his voice. If she wanted to be upset about him going after her son, fine, but Eun-mi had no hand in this as far as the older woman knew and didn't deserve to be spoken down to.

"Why are you going to such lengths?" Cha Gyeong-hui asked him, not even acknowledging her less than pleasant attitude toward Eun-mi.

"I think that's a question for your son." Yo-han told her while Eun-mi sat in his new chair behind his new desk. "Why did you go to such lengths with all those people?"

"That child has been through a lot too. He just has trouble suppressing his anger. But really, he's not a bad person." Gyeong-hui told him to peddle her excuses to no avail.

"Such permissive parenting. No wonder your son turned out so spoiled and with such a short fuse. I wonder if you'd accept such excuses back in your prosecutor days." Yo-han said not caring if he hurt the mother's feelings or not.

"Look, Judge Kang." Gyeong-hui tried to argue in defense of her son.

"I'm hanging up now. I expect an apology for my assistant within the week before she starts looking for other job opportunities." Yo-said told her while smiling at seeing Eun-mi roll her eyes at him.

"Let's meet."
