I want to write off Ga-on so badly, but I can't. Like, the show basically makes it impossible, and so much of the show's connecting points are from or to him. The majority of this chapter is just the antagonists yapping away.

"Do you think Ga-on's had enough time to heal, or is he still on the mend?" Yo-han asked Eun-mi, barging into her temporary room while she brushed her hair

"Do you think Ga-on's had enough time to heal, or is he still on the mend?" Yo-han asked Eun-mi, barging into her temporary room while she brushed her hair.

"He's definitely fine. He's walking around like it's no issue and flying like an annoying gnat. He's even trying to worm his way to Elijah's good side for whatever reason." Eun-mi told him while calmly running the sterling silver brush through her hair.

"So if I just left him in a box on the side of the road, you wouldn't have an issue?" He asked her, standing behind her at the vanity desk with a giant mirror that had silver outlining as well.

Eun-mi snorted at that and looked at him with a slight curl to her lip.

"You're joking, right? You don't really think I'll shed a tear if you drop him off in the woods, do you?" She asked him, almost laughing at the end of her own questions.

Yo-han chuckled at that before squeezing her shoulder.

"I know you won't care. I'm just trying to keep my conscience clear about this one thing, at least. I'll go over and see for myself if he's too injured or not for me to kick him out." Yo-han told her while looking at her through the reflection of the mirror. "Do you have a dress here, or do I need to give you my card to get one?"

"Is there a reason why I'd need one?" She asked him, putting the hairbrush down on the table.

"We've been invited to a party tonight by the SRF. Typical high-class type of thing." He explained to her, dropping his hand to his side. "So do you have a dress, or do I need to buy you another one?"

"I'll just use your card. If I'm getting a dress, then I need matching shoes and jewelry; otherwise, everyone's going to think I have no taste." She told him, turning in her seat to properly look at him.

"I think I've spoiled you too much. Assistants shouldn't be this casual with using their boss's money." Yo-han teased her with that same cheeky smirk on his face.

"Hey, you're the one who said I deserved the world on a platter. I'm just making sure you're keeping your end of the deal."
