SEOUL NATIONAL MALL

"How did you convince Yo-han to let me out of the manor? Did you do adult stuff?"

"Elijah!" Eun-mi half explained with a pink face and panic all over her face. She looked around the high-end boutique and let out a sigh of relief at seeing that no one overheard them. "How do you even know what that means?"

"My college readings. I'm young, not stupid, Eun-mi." Elijah told her aunt or older sister figure. "So, how did you convince him?"

"I said please and promised him I wouldn't let you out of my sight. We've barely been together for a week, so get your head out of the gutter." Eun-mi chastised the young woman while looking over the dresses. "I have your uncle's card, so don't worry about the cost."

Elijah let out a huff as she picked up a purse and looked it over.

"You've been kissing for a week, but you've basically been dating for a decade. Honestly, you two should just skip dating and go straight to getting married." Elijah said this without even looking at Eun-mi.

Eun-mi paused as she tried to picture herself in a wedding gown, Yo-han in a tuxedo, and wearing matching rings, but found it hard to believe. She never saw herself getting married; she was too absorbed in her own life and the supposed death curse that clung to her family, although if she had to get married to any man, it would have to be Yo-han. Although she had no clue where his head was when it came to marriage, Or anything that didn't have to do with his revenge, plots, schemes, or taking down his enemies.

He was an enigma that way, but she knew what she was signing herself up for.

Eun-mi shook the image out of her head before she picked at the material of the dress in front of her. Dress shopping was much easier to figure out than the inner workings of Kang Yo-han's mind. For now, she should just be happy with the fact that she finally had the man her heart had been set on since she first started working for him all those years ago.

"If marriage is even in the cards for us, then it'll happen whenever it's meant to. Until then, let's just worry about getting manicures, some cute clothes, and running your uncle's credit card to the ground." Eun-mi told Elijah with a sunny smile on her face.

Surely, Yo-han could forgive them for using his credit card like it was limitless. Which, technically speaking, it was, but eventually the bank would have to call him to make sure he didn't get mugged or his identity stolen, but she had co-authorization to his card already. And, if anything, he did owe it to them since he made them both feel like garbage before, so it eventually evened out.
