I got a notification that I got kudos on one of my stories on Ao3 and I got reminded I have another platform with readers who probably think I vanished off the face of the earth. Oops.

Eun-mi couldn't remember much of what happened after the adrenaline wore off. She knew one second that she was having a childish back-and-forth quip battle with K, who was alive still thanks to her and a lot of luck. The next second, she had her blood all over her hands, and K was breaking probably every speed law in order to get her to a hospital.
She assumed that at some point between swerving through cars and cutting corners, her body had to have given up, and she passed out in the passenger seat.
Being in the middle of life and death was a very odd thing. She felt so light and out of place compared to everything around her. She wasn't cold or hot, in the light or the dark, but she knew she wasn't on Earth. The leather seats from Yo-han's car weren't under her, the lights and sounds from traffic had suddenly stopped, and K was no longer next to her, chatting away in the hopes of keeping her awake.
But she was tired. She knew that much. It was as if the blood from her stomach was also releasing all the stress and worry in her body that had built up over the years, and now that she was in limbo, every nerve in her body was finally properly resting.

Meanwhile with Kang Yo-han
Yo-han felt like he had woken up to the end of the world. Everything that could have gone wrong did so and then magnified itself by a hundred.
Ga-on was missing. Something he didn't really care about, but the young man who shared his late brother's face knew too much about the work behind the scenes to let loose with no one around to stop him if he opened his mouth recklessly. And K, for some reason, was sending all of his calls to voicemail, which Yo-han couldn't even remember ever happening before. Which meant he had to rely on Su-hyeon, Ga-on's sort of but not really girlfriend, to pick up Ga-on and save him from possible trouble.
The foundation had released a video with some random model to announce the outbreak of a new virus and that the citizens had to be put under quarantine. Although, according to the few videos under the Yomi and new case for Kang hashtag, it looked a lot more like manhandling and shipping off the citizens from the ghetto into vans for no reason. Not to mention that he had a sneaking suspicion that Jukchang and his followers were there on the president's order, but he had no Eun-mi or K to confirm it.
