The first night away from Kang Manor was difficult to say the least. As cold and haunting as a place Kang manor could be at times it was also a kind of second home to Eun-mi. She had spent so much time there as a child and practically lived there now that she was an adult. As Yo-han's girlfriend or just his assistant who needed a place to crash for the night it hardly mattered. Kang Manor had always opened its door for her and she had obviously become attached to the manor and its residents.
But she had to leave. She had to heal before she drowned in her own thoughts and became more harm than good. Or worse, she took Elijah and Yo-han down with her.
So she made her peace about leaving Kang manor for the first time in a very long time, closed her eyes, and hoped that work tomorrow wouldn't be awkward or painful.

Supreme Court The Next Day
"Do you know what this meeting is about?" Yo-han asked Eun-mi, trying not to stare too long at her white dress with embroidered fruit at the bottom of the skirt.
"No clue. All I know is that he said it was urgent and you had to see him today." Eun-mi answered, as she led him over to Min Jung-ho's office were waiting for them.
This was not how she wanted to start day one of her journey to finally heal. But of course, war didn't care about personal issues or love so long as it could claim another body. Once they reached Min's office Yo-han pulled open the door for her to walk through only to be surprised when she only stuck her inside the old man's office.
"Kang Yo-han is here for your meeting, sir." Eun-mi announced to Jung-ho in a professional tone that Yo-han wasn't too familiar with.
