RECAP-

I couldn't help but laugh; it was the funniest thing I had seen all day. It was still mean though, I felt bad for Grant, but he made me laugh an actual real laugh which was refreshing. I walked over and rubbed my hand over his back, "Are you okay?"

He finally leaned up from the garbage and smiled slightly, "Yeah, I can't really take those rides. I have a weak stomach."

"That's totally understandable. Thank you so much for bringing me here though, it made my day so much better." I flashed Grant a relieved smile as we walked slowly towards his car.

The impression on the day that I thought I was going to have was pushed out of my mind as I remembered how it felt being on the carousel again for the first time in ages. I thought today would be a terrible day, but it ended up being pretty good. My mind was kept off of Danny for the most part, thanks to Grant.

"Flight 172, now boarding on the West Wing at gate 3." A voice came over the intercom at the airport, waking me from a light sleep. I hadnt slept any the night before, from worrying about this flight so much.

Grant and I both sat in the waiting seats at the air port. We had been waiting all morning due to flight delays. Let me say, it was the most boring wait ever. Also, I was nervous. I hated air planes. Just the thought of being that high up in the air gave me goosebumps.

172 was our flight though. I glanced over at Grant, who was now standing from his seat. Reluctantly, I stood as well and followed him towards the gate.

The lady at the gate was beautiful, her hair was pulled up tight and she had an airport uniform on. Honestly, I would be looking like a nervous wreck if I were standing in her shoes; but, that was just me. I hated the thought of being off the ground. She glanced at Grant to check him out, and then glanced at me and gave me a dirty look. I smiled nicely at her, despite her look and kept walking.

As we boarded the air plane the palms of my hands started sweating and my head started feeling dizzy. This definitely wasn't a good idea. We finally took our seats waiting for everyone else to board.

Grant looked over to me and laughed, "I see your already fidgeting and we haven't even left the ground yet."

I looked down at the ticket I was holding, it had been torn to shreds. Looking over at Grant, I laughed nervously. "I just... I have never been on one of these." My mouth stuttered over the words trying to get a complete sentence out.

He laughs and puts his hand over mine and squeezes, "You have nothing to worry about, I promise people get on and off these things all day every day. You will be okay."

Grants soothing words didn't help at all. I just couldn't help being afraid, after all the crashes I had heard about in the past. I vowed to myself I would never get on an airplane, the night Izzy and I, had to stay in the movie theater because we were crying too much after watching We Are Marshall. Also, the many times I had to hear my mother talking about the year Lynard Skynard's plane crashed. She still cries about it to this day; but here I am, getting on an airplane.

I leaned back in my seat and tried to concentrate on something else; it was either our plane going down and crashing or Danny. I don't know which I would rather think about.

"So, I know you probably don't want to talk about it... And I probably shouldn't be asking; but, you never told me about the other night." Grant's voice was deep as he looked over at me seriously, "Its just Samantha, you were really scaring me out there."
