  You sighed as you walked up the steps to the library. Why do I even need a tutor?!  you wondered. I bet it's gonna be some really loud, old person. Like in the movies. Wait. No, no, no....in the movies the tutors are hot. So ugly loud, old people are from reality. That sucks. You pushed the doors open and went in, returning some books first. "Mom said the tutor would be at the back......" You slowly began your march of doom. You took your time, looking at books on the shelves as you passed them. But, of course, eventually you arrived at your destination. "Here I go...." You took a deep breath and peered from behind the shelf you were hiding behind. Clutching your bag, you asked weakly, "um, hello?" "Are you the one needing a tutor," a voice responded. It sounded masculine.........so you classified your tutor as a guy. "Yes?" It came out as a question. "Come then. We've got no time to waste seeing as you had a fine time doing that already." What?? How did he know? You quickly stepped out from your safe zone and were greeted by a handsome young man. Woah. "So I take it your name is (y/n)?" "Y-yes. What's yours?" you stuttered. Wow, his eyes were the most beautiful combination of blue and gray.  Was it even possible to have a colour like that? And his hair...looked so soft.......you wanted to touch it. He looked so sophisticated dressed in a gray jacket with a black shirt inside. He was also wearing dark jeans that looked so cool on him. "Ruki. Now sit down unless you want to remain standing the entire two hours we have here." His voice jerked you back into reality. "Oh yes...of course." His name was wonderful. You replayed it in your head. You loved the sound of it. Ruki. Ruki. Ruki. Hastily, you sat down and took out your homework remembering what he had just said."So this is what you need help on?" You nodded quickly. Math never was your strong suit. "Okay then, let's get started with some algebra." While he explained x and y, you wondered what your compatibility rate was. Maybe a three. He was smart, good-looking and great having decided to be a tutor helping those in need. "Do you tutor anyone else?" you blurted out, interrupting his explanation of percentage having moved along so quickly. "And with this number, you can calculate...." He carried on as if he had not heard your question. You tried asking similar questions throughout the two hours, but he didn't respond unless it was related to the work. "You're quite focused aren't you?" you muttered angrily. "Of course I am. I'm getting paid for this! And time, is not a thing to be wasted. Clearly you don't know that and you shall pay for that as well." "How cold..." you pouted. After a while he finally said, "That's all for today. See you next week. With your homework COMPLETED." He put emphasis on the last word. Awwww...was it over already? You wanted to stare at his handsome face some more....in the time that you had here, you discovered that he had a black web-like choker. So cool!!!!  "Yup!" you trudged out of the library upset that the two hours had ended so soon, but ecstatic that he had said see you next week. From that week on, you worked hard to achieve good grades and get a thumbs-up from Ruki. your grades went up greatly and even your parents were surprised. Finally, when February rolled around, you started working up the courage to ask Ruki out. He was only a year or so older than you. With Valentine's day approaching, you started preparing. you baked cookies, bought flowers and made a card. You were all set. When you rushed into the back of the library looking for him, all you saw was a cue card saying;

 Sorry but something came up.

 I'll be back next month.

 Keep studying until then.

 You felt tears forming in your eyes. Why wasn't he here?! You had waited so long for this opportunity. Sadly, you trudged home. "Mom!!! The tutor's away for a month!" You alerted your mom on this issue. "Oh, I forgot to tell you! I'm so sorry!" "You knew?!?!" You were outraged. How dare your mother not tell you! You went into an era of darkness for the rest of the month. When March finally came, you had decided not to go to the tutor anymore. You would ditch. Every week, when it was time for you to go, you would take all your stuff, but instead of going to the library you would go to a park and stay there doing nothing for two hours. You didn't care if your mom found out or not. Surprisingly, she didn't. You got suspicious and went down to the library. You found Ruki sitting at the back, reading. As you neared him, he looked up. "Did you finish the pages I assigned you?" That was all you could take. "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!?! WELL SORRY FOR NOT DOING THE WORK BECAUSE I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND IT AND SORRY THAT I WASN'T ABLE TO CONTACT YOU AT ALL FOR HELP!!! I WONDER WHERE YOU WERE WHEN I ACTUALLY NEEDED YOUR CRAP!" You were mad. "Excuse me? I'm sorry but I think I should be your tutor in English as well. Your enunciations are quite off." The librarian shot you both a dirty look and came over to tell you to be quiet. You didn't let her. You ran out of there steaming. How could he say that?!?! You ran all the way home, not stopping for breath. When you got home, you found that  a package had arrived at your house. You read the label and it said it was from Ruki. Your blood started boiling all over again. You ripped open the box and were surprised to find a package of  Belgium chocolates wrapped in a red ribbon, along with a teddy bear and roses. Confused, you rummaged around some more and found a card. It read;

Did it come in late? I'm sorry if it did. I mailed it at the last possible second from where I was. I also kind of expected for you to get mad, since I wasn't there. Please don't hold your grudge for too long. It takes up too many brain cells. How are you expecting to get anything new stuck in that blockhead of yours if you don't clear it up a little? Anyways, happy Valentine's day. :)

When you read that, you started crying because of how stupid you'd been. You quickly found the chocolates that you had bought for him, perfectly intact although slightly destroyed by your anger, the ripped up card that you had made and the dead flowers from the compost bin. "Please, please, please still be there!" You sprinted faster than you had ever sprinted and rushed to the library. You pushed past the doors and into the back of the library. Shoot. He was gone. You looked in every aisle, but couldn't find him. You felt tears forming in your eyes, when you heard, "looking for someone?" You turned in surprise and found yourself face to face with Ruki. How had he gotten there??? "Oh um..." He smiled and looked at the things you were holding so tightly to your chest. "So you did get my package?" You nodded wordlessly. "T-thank you...." Ruki smirked. "And if I'm correct, those are for me?" You nodded again. "But why did it take so long for it to come?" You asked him. "If it came earlier I wouldn't have been so immature and childish saying those things. I'm really sorry." Tears welled up in your eyes. "I was away.....my brother needed me in China.......on tour.....ever heard of Kou?" "Kou...Mukami?!?!? He's your brother?!?!?!" Ruki nodded. "Wow that's so...amazing!!!! I mean...Kou....." you noticed the weird expression on Ruki's face. You stopped abruptly. "I know I'm going to sound possessive, but I don't like it when girls I like fantasize over my brother." You blinked. Girls he liked? Meaning you? "Oh um here. I'm sorry I kinda destroyed them." You changed the subject by shoving the gifts you had for him into his arms. He smiled at you. "You can make it up for me." "Really? Good! I won't feel so guilty then! What is it you want me to do?" "Kiss me." He patted his cheek. "What?" You were startled by his answer. "Kiss me." Blushing you stood on tiptoes to reach his height and planted a kiss on his cheek. "Good. Now my turn to repay the favor." "Wait what? I thought that was..." you were cut off as he took your face in his hands and pushed his lips onto yours gently. You relaxed into his embrace. When he pulled away from you, he whispered into your ear, "I love you (y/n). Will you go out with me?" You answered in chronological order. "I love you too Ruki. Yes."
