I KNOWWW I KNOW IM SORRYY
IM SORRY ITS BEEN FOREVER 🥹As I've mentioned before, I've been kinda losing my love for writing fanfics and sorta focusing way more on original stuff, I'm writing a new series of my own, as well as brainstorming many more
But this episode is just one of my least favorites of the show, so this one always feels like a hassle to write, which is why they're always so short 😭
I honestly just wanna get this book over with cuz I do have a sequel in mind that I've wanted to write FOREVER
In the meantime, like I mentioned last book, I am writing this Dip fanfic called The Ghost Trap, which is a rewrite of a super old story I had, and am SUPER into it rn :>
Ima still try to post more in this book tho!so. yeah. enjoy!
~~~~~~~~~Your POV~~~~~~~~~
"Whoa, that cloud looks like a chipmunk!" Mabel said as she pointed at the sky.
Wendy pointed to the same cloud, a snicker leaving her lips. "Barfing an airplane!!" Everyone laughed at her comment.
She and her group of friends invited the twins and I to go cloud gazing down at the cemetery, as they do. Mason and I were lying down beside each other, with his head against my shoulder as he enjoyed the moment.
"Oh, that cloud looks like uh..." Thompson thought for a moment, "a cloud!"
"BOOO!"
"What?!"
"Thompson, stop being the worst at everything!" Wendy said with a laugh.
"Looking at clouds," Mabel said excitedly, sitting up as something floated over. "Ooh, that cloud looks like a big heart-shaped balloon!"
Mason's eyes narrowed at that. "Clouds don't come in colors. That is a balloon!"
It was then that a memory came to mind, and I sat up with a smile. "Hey, it's the Woodstick Festival!"
"Wait, the wood what?"
"It's this annual outdoor concert featuring Oregon's up-and-coming indie bands," Wendy explained as she sat up, snatching Tambry's phone and offering it to the twins, who scrolled through the pictures. "They're all coming! Scarves Indoors, Wood Grain on Everything, the Love God..."
I laughed at the mention, "You've probably seen him on that viral video."
Wendy snickered after me, showing the video I mentioned.
Mason seemed entranced by the idea, getting the sparkle in his eye he always got when we were about to start a new mystery. "Whoa, like a real concert concert?! I've uh, I've never actually been to one of those before!"
"That's because you've never had an awesome crew to roll with before!" Wendy added as she punched his shoulder.
"C'mon, Thompson!" Lee's voice made us look ahead, seeing the group now surrounding a poor Thompson as Lee and Nate chanted, "Lick that sponge! Lick that sponge!"
When he did, they both yelled, with Nate going, "I can't believe he's doing it!"
"What are you doing?!" Lee asked afterwards, but still in a fit of laughter.
Wendy took pride in it though, and turned back to Mason. "When you're with us, you're in!"
But we all paused as we heard a groan coming from nearby, looking around for the source. Nothing seemed to be nearby, but another groan followed quickly after.
