🌔 Ep. 16: Roadside Attraction 🌔

"And don't forget the bug spray," Stan yelled at Soos as I walked out to the shack's porch. "It's perfect for spraying in the face of hitchhikers!"

Soos was on top of an RV, and the sight caught me by surprise. "Whoa, an RV? Camping gear? Are you running from the law again?"

But Soos peeked down at me with a bright smile. "Dude, it's the ultimate Oregon road trip adventure!!"

"More like revenge trip," Stan added.

I raised an eyebrow, confused. "Huh?"

"Every year, the tourist trap competitor's prank the Mystery Shack. Last year, those hooligans duck taped Soos to the ceiling!"

"That was a fun seventy eight hours!" Soos said cheerfully.

"They also switched Stan's shampoo bottle with hair dye," I heard someone say from behind. When I turned, (y/n) was walking over to eyes with a warm smile and dark circles under his eyes, bundle up as if it had been snowing for days. "The pink took weeks to wash out."

Stan growled in anger. "Ugh, don't remind me!"

(y/n) chuckled at the memory, though I was more concerned about him. "Shouldn't you be resting?"

He nudged my side. "Oh I'm alright, Maze, no need to worry.. I can't possibly miss Stan's anual bullying trip!"

"That's the spirit!!" Stan said as he gave a friendly pat to (y/n)'s back. "This year, we're visiting every tourist trap along the Redwood Highway and I'm gonna prank back every single one!!"

That's when Mabel and her friends walked over, with Grenda smiling at the sight of the RV. "Bow-wow!! Time to let the road dogs bark!"

"That is us! We are the road dogs!" Candy confirmed.

"Thanks for letting me bring Candy, Grenda, and Lorelei along for our road trip, Grunkle Stan!!" Mabel said with a smile.

Lorelei gave a small bow at Stan. "We invited Wendy too, but she said she had to look after her brothers with her dad away for the weekend."

"The more the merrier! Just sign these non-disclosure agreements." He gave the girls a few papers each. "None of your parents are lawyers, right?"

The girls then all went into the RV, Soos hopping down from it. "What do you say, dude? You coming?"

"I already went through the of packing all your stuff~!" Mabel pulled out a small luggage.

"And while we are going to ruin the other tourist attractions, there's a bunch of nice date spots we could check out," (y/n) added with a teasing grin.

The thought made my cheeks hit up, and I let out a sigh. "Well, when you put it like that..."

I interrupted myself with a scream as (y/n) wrapped an arm around my waist and lifted me onto his shoulder. "Then let's get going!!"

"(Y-Y/N)!!"

Soon after, we were on the road! Mabel, Candy, Grenda, and Lorelei were all sitting at the group table right behind the driver's seat, all chatting like normal. (y/n) and I sat in the passenger seat together since we were both small enough to fit, with Stan beside us at the wheel.
