A strong built. Defined muscles underneath a thin layer of fur. The softest nose, and the kindest of eyes. Jungkook's hand glides along the neck of his horse, patting at the shoulder as he ties the reins to the post around Seoul's city center.

He got a letter a few days ago from the mayor, asking him to meet up and discuss the rules of his attendance at the party of the following night.

Jungkook was an outlaw. A criminal caught after in many other cities. There was a delectable price on his head, alive or dead. One that many people, if they knew who he was, would yearn to take.

Outlaws never work alone, and the mayor understood that very well. Their first meeting a week ago was by no means under peaceful circumstances. With Jungkook's gun blasting through the skull of one of the Daegu men.

Criminals versus the law. The police were after them wherever they went.

The mayor was their primary target before they were ambushed, and killing the mayor became a less important priority than getting rid of the cops that had been chasing them ever since the murder fest Jungkook had helped Hoseok out of.

That man was hungry for blood and revenge. So much so that it blinded his vision more often than not. Jungkook was the one that pulled him out of it.

With the sun far below the horizon and the stars high in the cold night, Jungkook leaves his steed by the small patch of grass in front of the manor, running a hand through his messy black hair before placing his wide-rimmed hat back on and passing the metal gate.

Lovely. Discussing a party with the mayor who was still on their hitlist.

He was liked among the citizens, he heard. A kind man who often sacrificed his own time for those of others. Jungkook would call that stupid.

Knocking on the large white doors, Jungkook takes a step back, hands in his pockets, waiting for the door to open.

He tilts his head when it does by a man he hasn't seen before. One dressed the same as every other rich asshole in town.

"Oh. It's you." The man snarls, frowning as he eyes the outlaw up and down, scoffing at his dirty shirt and jacket. "Come in. Wipe your shoes on the mat, please."

"Sure."

Jungkook takes a step inside, sliding the bottom of his boots over the harsh textured mat, not bothering to take off his hat.

He's here for business. Nothing more, nothing less.

"Follow me."

"Sure."

"Is that the only thing you say?"

Jungkook shrugs, glancing at the man with a slight grin.

"The mayor is expecting you."

"Yeah. I got his letter."

"Good to know you're not a complete poor soul."

"I may not have money, but at least I have manners."

The man scoffs and shakes his head, muttering under his breath as he leads the way to the stairs, passing many paintings and vases filled with colorful flowers until they reach the study.

A room with many bookcases and a desk, where the mayor sits with a few papers in his hands and a pen at the ear.

"Sir."
