《《SEASON ONE COMPLETED》》
Kazuto Kirigaya had finally found the tranquillity he'd longed for. With his beloved circle of dear friends, they relished a peaceful life in the real world. The days of virtual battles in Sword Art Online felt like distant...
Kazuto Kirigaya stood still, surrounded by a thick, impenetrable fog. His breath echoed in the stillness, but his body remained motionless, as if trapped in some strange space between dreams and reality. He blinked, trying to focus, but the mist seemed endless, the air heavy with an eerie stillness.
"Where am I?" Kazuto muttered aloud, his voice lost in the endless fog. "What is this place?"
He scanned the indistinct surroundings, searching for something to make sense of the strange, oppressive atmosphere. Then, as if summoned by some unseen force, the mist parted slightly ahead, revealing two figures in the distance.
The first was a shadowy, ethereal presence, its form constantly shifting like smoke in the wind. The second was a swordsman, dressed in black armour, his blade gleaming ominously under the faint light. They were locked in a vicious battle, their swords clashing with a force that sent ripples through the fog, each strike sending shockwaves through Kazuto's chest.
"Who are those two?" Kazuto gasped, a sense of dread creeping into his chest. "Why do they feel... familiar?"
The figures clashed again, their swords meeting in a brilliant explosion of light and force, sending shockwaves through the air. The world seemed to shake as if the very fabric of reality was tearing apart. Kazuto's heart raced as the impact reverberated through him, but just as the chaos seemed to overwhelm him, everything exploded in a blinding flash.
With a sharp gasp, Kazuto jolted awake, the familiar sounds of a dessert shop replacing the sound of battle. The fog was gone, and instead, he found himself sitting at a small table surrounded by warm lights and the sweet scent of pastries. He blinked, disoriented, trying to grasp the remnants of the dream.
Kazuto sat frozen, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he tried to steady his breath. The vivid remnants of his dream clung to him, a haunting weight that refused to fade.
He blinked and turned his gaze forward, only to see the girl in front of him staring at him with wide, startled eyes, her hand pressed lightly against her chest.
"Kazuto-kun... are you okay?" she asked softly, her voice tinged with concern.
Realizing how shaken he must look, Kazuto lowered his head slightly, avoiding her eyes. "Ah... sorry," he murmured. "I spaced out a bit."
The girl relaxed, though her lips formed a small pout. Crossing her arms, she leaned forward, narrowing her eyes playfully. "You've been doing that a lot recently, you know," she said, a teasing lilt in her voice. "And this time, on our date, too, Kazuto-kun."
Kazuto flinched at her words, guilt washing over him. He kept his gaze down, unable to meet hers. "I... I didn't mean to," he muttered, his voice barely audible.
Her pout deepened, but her tone grew more mischievous. "That's it," she declared, a spark of amusement in her eyes. "I'll forgive you... only if you're the one paying."
